N° 3 F3-MITIC, mai 2003 - Short Information about the ICT 21 process

Towards the F3-MITIC Certification in Switzerland
Centre) – KCTR 5 (Knowledge Centre for Teachers and
Researchers). F3-MITIC was already, indeed, in the plan
of actions during the second meeting of December, 2000
of the Task Force in creation «ICT and training».
Many Swiss responsibles for education know the action
plan of May, 2001 of the CDIP-CH 6 and the «Loi fédérale
sur l’encouragement de l’utilisation des technologies de
l’information et de la communication dans les écoles» 7
voted in December, 2001 as well as the so far first three
series F3-MITIC (02-03, 03-04 and 04-05).
During the prototyping, from 2001-2002 on, the
key question was raised of the certification and of
the ECTS 8 credits (Switzerland ratified the Bologna
declaration on December 4th, 2003).
The May, 2003 Münchenwiler Workshop was thus the
opportunity for reactivating the search for solutions to
this problem. The program of this workshop evidences
the anticipative vision of the process.
In this register, the SATW 9 , through its ICT Committee,
was able to entirely play its specific role: to be a catalyst
by allowing different potential actors to share and to
consult to propose realistic recommendations which
will be then pursued by proper authorities. Thanks to
this synergy, in June then in December, 2004, after a
meticulous study and a methodical construction, the
CDIP-CH finalized the regulations 10 among which
the F3-MITIC profile.

This is indeed a very good news especially in the
current tepid context: an example to be followed by
all concerned by the professional development in the
Information Society !
