« Risque d’infiltration » pour les <strong>masses</strong> d’eau <strong>superficielles</strong> <strong>du</strong> <strong>bassin</strong> <strong>Rhin</strong>-<strong>Meuse</strong><br />
– Définition et Méthode d’identification -<br />
1. Définition :<br />
Sont définis comme <strong>masses</strong> d’eau pouvant présenter un risque d’infiltration :<br />
- les cours d’eau à caractère karstique,<br />
- les cours d’eau s’infiltrant en nappe alluviale <strong>du</strong> <strong>Rhin</strong> ou dans les sables <strong>du</strong> Pliocène d’Haguenau.<br />
La liste de ces <strong>masses</strong> d’eau est présentée en Annexe de cette note.<br />
2. Méthode d’identification<br />
Masse d’eau karstique :<br />
Les <strong>masses</strong> d’eau à caractère karstique ont été identifiées selon la méthode suivante :<br />
- tri sélectif de tous les cours d’eau pour lesquels la codification hydrographique possède un code<br />
associé au milieu égal à C (sous-milieu karstique) soit 126 <strong>masses</strong> d’eau retenues sur un total de<br />
608,<br />
- évaluation pour chaque masse d’eau <strong>du</strong> % de linéaire concerné par le critère C,<br />
- tri <strong>des</strong> <strong>masses</strong> d’eau en fonction <strong>du</strong> % de linéaire :<br />
si % de linéaire ≥ 50%, la masse d’eau est considérée karstique<br />
si % de linéaire < 50%, une expertise permet de la classer soit en « karstique », soit en<br />
« localement karstique ».<br />

Infiltration en nappe alluviale :<br />
Les <strong>masses</strong> d’eau s’infiltrant en nappe ont été identifiées selon la méthode suivante :<br />
- détermination à partir <strong>du</strong> catalogue <strong>des</strong> débits d’étiage, <strong>des</strong> cours d’eau présentant <strong>des</strong> pertes<br />
totales ou <strong>des</strong> baisses de débit naturel significatives dans la plaine alluviale <strong>du</strong> <strong>Rhin</strong> ou dans les<br />
sables <strong>du</strong> Pliocène d’Haguenau,<br />
- sélection finale à dire d’expert.<br />
