2. Scroll to the alarm you want to set and press <strong>Suunto</strong>. The alarm information isdisplayed on the screen (status, time, date). The alarm status is active (in reversedcolor).3. Press either the up or down arrow to change the alarm status to on. Press <strong>Suunto</strong>.The alarm symbol appears on the display and the hour selection is activated.4. Set the correct hour with the arrow buttons and press <strong>Suunto</strong>. The minute selectionis activated.5. Set the correct minutes with the arrow buttons and press <strong>Suunto</strong>. The monthselection is activated.6. If you want the alarm to sound every day, accept the dd.mm format by pressing<strong>Suunto</strong>. (A long press takes you directly back to the main display. A short presstakes you to the function menu.) The alarm is set to sound every day and youreturn to the function menu.7. If you want to set the alarm for a specific date, set the day and month in the dd andmm fields with the arrow buttons and press <strong>Suunto</strong> to accept the date. The alarmis now set to sound only once on the selected date and you return to the functionmenu.Deactivating alarmsTo deactivate the alarm:1. In the Function menu, Alarm is already the first menu item. Press <strong>Suunto</strong> toselect it.2. Scroll to the alarm you want to deactivate and press <strong>Suunto</strong>. The alarm informationis displayed on the screen (status, time, date). The alarm status is active (inreversed color).3. Press either the up or down button to change the alarm status to off and press<strong>Suunto</strong>. The alarm symbol disappears from the display.19
