3.5.2. LogbookLogbook is a memory function that saves the altitude profile of the recorded activityand all the extra information derived from it. Logbook is the default option and isshown on the screen in reversed color.Starting the logbookTo start the logbook:1. In the Function menu, Logbook is already the first menu item. Press <strong>Suunto</strong> toselect it.2. Scroll to Start and press <strong>Suunto</strong>.If the logbook is not running and there is enough memory left, saving begins.The message “LOGBOOK STARTED” is displayed and you return to the Function menu.If the logbook is already active, the message “LOGBOOK ALREADY RUNNING” is displayed andyou return to the Function menu where the Stop field is displayed in reversed color.If there is not enough memory left, the message “MEMORY FULL” is displayed and <strong>Suunto</strong>S6 moves to a display that asks you to erase a logbook file.To save a lap time in the logbook, go to the main display of the Skiing mode and pressStart. The message “LAP TIME SAVED” is displayed. The number of lap times is not limited.Stopping the logbookTo stop the logbook:1. In the Function menu, Logbook is already the first menu item. Press <strong>Suunto</strong> toselect it.2. Scroll to Stop and press <strong>Suunto</strong>. The saving stops and the message “LOGBOOKSTOPPED” is displayed. You automatically return to the function menu.39
