TESTING THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM• Carefully check operating efficiency of the automated systemand of all accessories connected to it, paying special attentionto the safety devices.• Hand the “User’s Guide” to the final user together with the Maintenancesheet.• Explain correct operation and use of the automated system tothe user.• Indicate the potentially dangerous areas of the automatedsystem to the user.5. MANUAL OPERATIONThe reversible models has no release device. To move theleaf by hand, just release the electric lock.Before releasing the electric lock always make sure that thesystem is not powered.If the automated system needs to be moved manually due to apower lack or to an operator malfunction, proceed as follows:1. Cut power by means of the safety circuit breaker (even in theevent of a power lack).2. Slide the protective cap, Fig.22/a.3. Insert the key and turn it 90°, Fig.22/b.4. Lift the control lever, Fig.22/c.5. To release the operator turn 180° the control lever to the directionindicated by the arrow on the release system, Fig.22/d.6. Open and close the leaf manually.To hold the operator in manual operation the release deviceshould be left in its current positions and the system shouldbe without power.5.1. RESTORING NORMAL OPERATIONTo restore normal operating conditions, proceed as follows:1. Ensure that the system is not powered.2. Turn the release system 180° in the opposite direction of thearrow.3. Turn 90° the release key and remove it.4. Close the control lever and the protection cover.5. Power up the system and perform some movements in orderto check the correct restoring of every function of the automatedsystem.6. MAINTENANCEIn order to ensure correct operation and constant safety over time,make a general check of the system every six months, payingspecial attention to the safety devices. In the booklet “User guide”,a form has been prepared for the recording of maintenanceoperations.7. REPAIRSThe user must not carry out any repairs or maintenance operations;these must be effected only and exclusively by qualified GENIUSpersonnel or GENIUS service centres.8. AVAILABLE ACCESSORIESFor the available accessories see the GENIUS catalogue.9. SPECIAL APPLICATIONSApplications other than those described in the present manual areEXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN.
