The open side (whichholds the collector) points upwards.• Slide front side wall of the Maxi-Flipperupward by approx. 2 cm. 48• Remove the side wall. 49• Remove the CO 2 tube, do not pull it out.• Now clean all components of the CO 2Maxi-Flipper with warm water and a softsponge. Do not use any detergents.• Reassemble the Maxi-Flipper in reverseorder.Attention: reinsert the CO 2 tube into theside wall so that the lower end is at thevery bottom of the reactor. 507.4 Note on the CO 2 hoseThe special Softflex CO2 hose is self-sealingand self-locking for maximum safety.Always lever off the hose carefully with ascrewdriver, DO NOT pull off! 51TIP: Large quantities of valuable CO 2 maybe lost every day through leaking CO 2hoses. To avoid this, always use suitableCO 2 hoses, such as thespecial Softflex CO 2 hose fromDENNERLE.7.5 pH-Controller7.5.1 Replacing the fuseIf the connected solenoid valve does not open although the LED indicatesthat the valve is on, either the solenoid valve or the fuse is defective.• Checking the fuse: Connect a normal table lamp (max. 40 W) to thesocket on the power unit. Select a sufficiently low setting to ensurethat the solenoid valve is switched on. If the lamp does not light up,the fuse is defective.• Replacing the fuse: Disconnect the pH-Controller from the power supply.Unscrew fuse holder and remove defective fuse. Fit new fuse ofthe same type (from electrical retailer) and screw fuse holder backinto place.7.5.2 What will happen in case of a power failure? In case of a power failure, all programmed settings and functions will beretained in the internal permanent memory. As soon as the power supplyto the pH-Controller is resumed, it will automatically perform the necessarycontrol actions to restore the pH level in the aquarium to the setvalue.7.6 Cleaning the surfacesUse a moist cloth and a mild detergent.
