The condenser is normally activated by a temperature controlled pool water pump,<br />

which starts up automatically above a specified room temperature and pumps pool water<br />

through the condenser.<br />

The inflow is connected with the connector marked “IN” and the outflow with the connector<br />

marked “OUT”.<br />

Power is connected to the unit in accordance with the name plate. Please refer to the<br />

wiring diagrams on page 121.<br />

Important! All electrical connections must be made in accordance with local power supply<br />

company regulations!<br />

Water quality All electrical connections must be made in accordance with local power supply company<br />

The following guidance values are applicable to swimming pools with the addition of<br />

Total alkalinity 80-150<br />

Calcium hardness 250-450<br />

Total dissolved solids < 2000<br />

The following guidance values are applicable to swimming pools with self-production of<br />

chlorine:<br />

Chemicals ppm<br />

Salt (NaCl) 2700-3400<br />

Total dissolved solids < 5500<br />

pH 7,2-7,6<br />

Total alkalinity 80-150<br />

Calcium hardness 250-450<br />

Sulphates < 360<br />

It is advisable to use the Langelier Saturation index to ensure that the combination of<br />

the different water parameters is acceptable.<br />
