Technical Section - Reaming
Applications
The results obtained in reaming are to
a great extent dependent upon the
condition of the drilled hole. If deep
scores or form deviations are inherent
in the hole, reaming is probably not
going to rectify these inaccuracies or
produce a finish within tolerance
requirements. A reamer can also be
mounted in a floating holder with
enough clearance to permit the reamer
to move freely along the existing hole.
