With almost all of the merchandise sold<br />

by the Company sourced locally, the<br />

Company is able to keep costs down and<br />

provide its products in a much more timely<br />

manner than if it depended on imports.<br />

The Company, which believes in “Buying<br />

Indonesian for Indonesia”, knows that<br />

locally made items have a very strong<br />

market among domestic consumers. For<br />

this reason, the Company works very<br />

closely with local manufacturers to design<br />

sales products and maintains longstanding<br />

relations with all of its key suppliers.<br />

As we move into 2011, we will continue<br />

to open more new stores in order to<br />

maintain the Company’s strong financial<br />

performance and improve the strategic<br />

positioning and market dominance of the<br />

<strong>Matahari</strong> Department Store brand in the<br />
