The whole country knew what happened to that. The extent of the MTR of the 9th
Malaysia Plan can be seen in the coverage afforded by the MSMedia and the blogs
themselves.
The only paper I read, Star, gave it one measly centrespread. No follow up. Nothing.
Trcia Yeoh of CPPS said the lack of information was rather loud (not her words, but
mine) and I agree with her.
It was a good chance for Abdullah to show the country that he is OUR leader, and that
the MTR would provide the impetus to push the country forward.
We were all waiting for an answer. Are we going to tighten our belts? Our we increasing
domestic spending to spur the economy? What fiscal stimulus is in store?
We waited with bated breath as much was promised but in the end...
What happens? HE FLOPS, yet again.
It is a sad state of where the country is heading.
YOUR Vision 2020 is still quoted off and on, but the way Abdullah is leading the
country, it might just be a much hype rethoric with little in actual value, just like his term
as Premier.

YES, YES, YES you are NOT a DICTATOR. You are our idol in Malaysian Leadership.
I can tell for sure that you have a very good heart and easily forgiving because you
allowed most people who against you to come back and hold various positions during
your tenure.
Let the western media and people think that way including my PhD supervisor in
Australia. They (i.e. western) want us not to be strong, stupid and be superior. BUT to my
mind you are not and you will never be a dictator. In fact you are a genius leader during
your time. This has been coveyed to me through an Australian in his writing entitled
"THE AUSTRALIAN HERD: Looking Beyond the Obvious of Complacence and
Ignorance". The writing was not published but he gave me a copy of his writing and
qouted your genius work during the currency crisis in 1997. Sabar...TUN the true will
prevail, it is a matter of time.
