nilai-duga biomassa ikan demersal per stratum<br />

kedalaman dapat dihitung. Demikian<br />

pula ragam dari masing-masing nilai-duga<br />

biomassa per stratum dapat ditentukan dengan<br />

menggunakan Persamaan (7). Selanjutnya<br />

dengan menggunakan Persamaan (10)<br />

estimasi MSY dapat diperkirakan, yakni<br />

dengan menganggap nilai M = 1, yakni sebagai<br />

nilai rata-rata mortalitas alami dari<br />

berbagai jenis ikan, dan dengan anggapan<br />

bahwa stok diluar kedalaman 20 m masih<br />

belum diusahakan secara intensif. Sehingga<br />

nilai-duga MSY:<br />

MSY = 0.5 (1) (605.6) x 1000 =<br />

302.8 (x 1000 ton).<br />
