Agricultural Census 1-31 May 2013Let’s Make It Happen!Let’s Make a Better Future for the FarmersWhat is ST2013?ST2013 or the 2013 Agricultural Census is a data collection (census)of all agriculture actors in order to collect data on the agricultural potentialthroughout Indonesia.Why is ST2013 important?ST2013 provides the latest condition of Indonesia’s agriculture whichconsists of distribution, coverage, and its potential in supporting policyimplementation, and evaluation of agricultural development programsin the relevant ministries and institutions (Agriculture, Marine Affairs andFisheries, Forestry, Commerce, and Planning Agency), universities andinternational institutions as well as private sectors.Who will participate in the census?ST2013 requires participation of all agriculture actors (agriculturehouseholds and establishments in the sectors of food crops, horticulture,plantation, animal husbandry, fisheries and forestry) in the entire territoryof Indonesia.How is the ST 2013 conducted?ST2013 will be conducted by interviewing all agriculture actors byorganising about 300,000 enumerators.
