Oggetto: Aggiornamenti software sistemi Sequent<br />
Gentile concessionario,<br />
Ti segnaliamo alcune novità o aggiornamenti software che, dal 30.01.06, sono <strong>di</strong>sponibili sul nostro sito<br />
www.brc.it.<br />
Ti chie<strong>di</strong>amo <strong>di</strong> inoltrare la presente comunicazione ai tuoi installatori e ad assicurarti che effettuino<br />
correttamente l'aggiornamento dei loro PC.<br />
Sequent 56<br />
Sono <strong>di</strong>sponibili gli ultimi aggiornamenti <strong>di</strong> Software interfaccia, Software centralina e Caricatore.<br />
Le varianti apportate consentono velocità <strong>di</strong> programmazione più elevate ed apportano alcune migliorie<br />
rispetto alla versione precedente. Vengono inoltre aggiunti, tra la scelta iniettori, i BRC SUPERMAX.<br />

In seguito ad alcune verifiche in corso sul funzionamento a freddo degli iniettori e per uniformare i software dei<br />
sistemi <strong>di</strong> iniezione sequenziale fasata, sono stati sviluppati e sono ora <strong>di</strong>sponibili alcuni aggiornamenti<br />
Software centralina. Vengono inoltre aggiunti, tra la scelta iniettori, i BRC SUPERMAX.<br />
Nei casi in cui siano stati riscontrati dei problemi alla prima commutazione a freddo o si siano riscontrati<br />
danneggiamenti agli iniettori o al sensore <strong>di</strong> pressione-temperatura gas (PTS del Sequent 24), consigliamo<br />
vivamente <strong>di</strong> procedere all'aggiornamento del Software sulle centraline.<br />

Sequent Fastness<br />
Sono <strong>di</strong>sponibili gli aggiornamenti Software centralina e caricatore.<br />
Le varianti apportate riguardano alcune piccole migliorie generali ed aggiungono, tra la scelta iniettori, i BRC<br />
SUPERMAX.<br />
- Scarica l’aggiornamento Dati Sequent Fastness 009 del 26-01-2006 (Software centralina vers. 016);<br />
- Scarica l'aggiornamento caricatore centralina Sequent Fastness versione 121 del 26-01-2006;<br />
Cogliamo l'occasione per segnalare che, per semplificare le procedure <strong>di</strong> aggiornamento dei Software su PC,<br />
vi sono state apportate alcune varianti.<br />
Tutti gli aggiornamenti dati <strong>di</strong>sponibili sono composti da un eseguibile che si autoscompatterà <strong>di</strong>rettamente<br />
nella cartella appropriata del PC (invece che su floppy come in precedenza).<br />
Non sarà quin<strong>di</strong> più necessario effettuare l'aggiornamento dati aprendo il Software <strong>di</strong> interfaccia (da<br />
Utilità\Aggiornamento Dati). Tale procedura resterà solo per eventuali mappature specifiche.<br />
ES. L'aggiornamento dati del Sequent 24 andrà a scaricarsi <strong>di</strong>rettamente nella cartella<br />
C:\Programmi\Sequent24 per l'Italia e in C:\Program Files\Sequent24 per tutti i PC stranieri (come avviene<br />
già per gli aggiornamenti dell'interfaccia).<br />
Questo facilita ulteriormente la procedura <strong>di</strong> aggiornamento e riduce il numero <strong>di</strong> passaggi da effettuare.<br />

software.<br />
We ask you to inform your installers and tell them to correctly update the PC.<br />
Sequent 56<br />
The available new software are for interface, ECU and Kernel.<br />
The carried out changes will allow a faster programming and improve some aspects compared to the previous<br />
version. Moreover you will have the possibility to choose BRC SUPERMAX injectors<br />

Sequent Fast and Sequent 24<br />
Further to some verification on the injectors operation during cold con<strong>di</strong>tions and to uniform the sequential<br />
injection systems, we developed some ECU Software updates and added BRC SUPERMAX injectors among<br />
the types to be selected.<br />
In case of problems during the first cold changeover or in case you find damages to injectors or gas pressuretemperature<br />
gauge (Sequent 24 TPS), we strongly suggest updating the ECU software.<br />

Software ECU and Kernel updates are available.<br />
The changes are for some small general improvements and add the possibility to choose BRC SUPERMX<br />
injectors among the <strong>di</strong>fferent types.<br />
- Download the Sequent Fastness data update 009 of 26-01-2006 (ECU Software version 016);<br />
- Download the Sequent Fastness ECU kernel updating version 121 dated 26-01-2006;<br />
Moreover we would like to underline that, to make easier the PC software update procedures, some changes<br />
have been carried out.<br />
All available data updates include an exe that automatically unzip in the PC suitable folder (not on the floppy<br />
<strong>di</strong>sk as before).<br />
For this reasons it is no more necessary to update data opening the interface Software (from Utility\Data<br />
update). This latter will be used only for possible specific mapping.<br />
I.E. Sequent 24 data update has to be <strong>di</strong>rectly downloaded in the folder C:\Programmi\Sequent24 for Italy<br />
and in C:\Program Files\Sequent24 for foreign PC (as it happens for the interface software update).<br />
This makes the updating process easier and reduces the steps to be followed.<br />

améliorations par rapport à la version précédente. Ont été aussi ajoutés, dans le choix injecteurs, les BRC<br />

Logiciel centrale. Sont aussi ajoutés, dans le choix des injecteurs, les BRC SUPERMAX.<br />
Dans les cas où ont été rencontrés des problèmes à la première commutation à froid ou des problèmes<br />
d’endommagement aux injecteurs ou au capteur de pression-température gaz (PTS du Sequent 24), nous<br />
recommandons de procéder à la mise à jour du Logiciel centrale.<br />

Toutes les mises à jour données <strong>di</strong>sponibles sont formées par un fichier exécutable qui se auto-décompactera<br />
<strong>di</strong>rectement dans le dossier spécifique du PC (tan<strong>di</strong>s que sur un floppy comme avant).<br />
Il ne sera plus donc nécessaire effectuer la mise à jour données par le Logiciel interface (de Utilités\Mise à jour<br />
données). Cette procédure restera en vigueur uniquement pour éventuelles cartographies spécifiques.<br />

Aprovechamos la ocasión para señalar que, al fin de simplificar el proce<strong>di</strong>miento de puesta al día de los<br />

Todas las puestas al día datos tienen un exe que va abrirse <strong>di</strong>rectamente en la cartera idónea del PC (y non<br />
en floppy come antes).<br />
No es necesario hacer la puesta al día datos abriendo el Software interfaz (de Utilidad\Puesta al día datos) y<br />
este proce<strong>di</strong>miento sólo está valido para mapas especificas.<br />
ES. La puesta al día datos Sequent 24 va descargarse <strong>di</strong>rectamente en la cartera C:\Programmi\Sequent24<br />
para Italia y en C:\Program Files\Sequent24 para PC extranjeros (como ya sucede para la puesta al día<br />
interfaz).<br />
Esto facilita ulteriormente el proce<strong>di</strong>miento de puesta al día y reduce el numero de pasajes a hacer.<br />
