Rolando BC 301 XW TOKEN!
Il modello Rolando BC 301 XW TOKEN è idoneo all’utilizzo nelle cucine moderne, dove lo
spazio di lavoro è sempre più ridotto.
La bilancia da cucina TOKEN ha 3 funzioni principali:
1. pesa qualsiasi recipiente, fino a 3kg (divisione 1 gr.)
2. timer da cucina con avvisatore acustico e magneti integrati
3. orologio digitale
Quando non in utilizzo la bilancia TOKEN può essere riposta in un cassetto, mentre il suo
ricevitore con magneti integrati può essere attaccato su qualsiasi superficie metallica per poter
sfruttare le sue funzioni di orologio digitale e timer con avvisatore acustico.

Scopo del manuale
Informazioni generali
Questo manuale, che è parte integrante dell’apparecchiatura, è stato realizzato dal costruttore
per fornire le informazioni necessarie a coloro che sono autorizzati ad interagire con essa
nell’arco della sua vita prevista.
Oltre ad adottare una buona tecnica di utilizzo, i destinatari delle informazioni devono leggerle

- Girare il ricevitore e la piattaforma, il vano batteria si trova sul retro della piattaforma e del
ricevitore, aprire il coperchio e inserire la batteria nel vano con la polarità corretta.
- Quando il display LCD indica “Lo”, aprire il coperchio della batteria e sostituire quest’ultima
con una nuova con la polarità corretta.

Timer con conto alla rovescia
Funzionamento
Punto 1:
Premere il tasto “START/MODE”, il ricevitore entra in stato di conto alla rovescia sul display
LCD, quindi ruotare il tasto “UP/DOWN” in senso orario, i secondi aumentano, ruotare il tasto
“UP/DOWN” in senso antiorario , i secondi diminuiscono; Premere il tasto “START/MODE”,
parte il conto alla rovescia.

Ruotare il tasto “UP/DOWN”
Punto 2:
Nello stato di conto alla rovescia, premendo leggermente il tasto “START/MODE” è possibile
fermare il timer, quindi premere il tasto “START/MODE” per 2 secondi, il conto alla rovescia
viene azzerato e il timer può essere reimpostato.
Punto 3:
Quando il timer del conto alla rovescia visualizza “00:00” il segnale acustico inizia a suonare,
allo stesso tempo, il timer inizia il conto alla rovescia, premere un tasto qualsiasi si può fermare
il segnale acustico e il conto alla rovescia; se il segnale acustico non ha suonato dopo 1 minuto,
il conto alla rovescia si fermerà a “99:59” e lampeggerà.
Pesatura
Punto 1:
Collocare la bilancia sulla superficie, mettere il ricevitore e la bilancia in posizione corretta, premere
leggermente la bilancia, quando la luce di stop lampeggia premere la bilancia, il ricevitore
squilla quando riceve il segnale, la pesatura può iniziare dopo che il display LCD visualizza zero.
Punto 2:
In modalità di pesatura, premendo il tasto “START/MODE” è possibile cambiare le unità g/oz.
Punto 3:
Mettere il cibo sulla superficie, il peso viene visualizzato sul display.

Funzione tara
Punto 1:
In stato di pesatura, mettere il contenitore sulla superficie e il display LCD visualizzerà il peso
del contenitore.
Punto 2:
Premere il tasto “TARE”, il display visualizza zero. Azzerare il peso del contenitore. Poi mettere
il cibo nel contenitore, il peso viene visualizzato sul display LCD.
Punto 3:
Togliere il cibo dal contenitore, il display visualizza il peso negativo del cibo.
Punto 4:
Premere il tasto “TARE” di nuovo, il display visualizza zero.
Indicazione di errore
• Indicazione di batteria scarica
Quando il ricevitore ha la batteria scarica, il display LCD visualizza
Quando la bilancia ha la batteria scarica, il display LCD visualizza
• Indicazione di sovraccarico
Quando la bilancia è sovraccarica, sul display apparirà “EEEE”.

Regolazione orario
Fase 1:
Collegando l’apparecchio alla corrente elettrica, lampeggerà l’orario sul display LCD. Ruotando
il controllo “UP/DOWN” in senso orario le ore aumenteranno. Ruotando il controllo “UP/DOWN”
in senso antiorario le ore diminuiranno. Premere il tasto “START/MODE” per confermare le ore.

- Gli interventi in garanzia non prolungano il periodo di garanzia, né fanno iniziare un nuovo
periodo di garanzia.
- Le richieste di indennizzo al di fuori di queste condizioni, per quanto riguarda le richieste di

- Non si accettano richieste di indennizzo durante il periodo della garanzia: in caso di uso non

Dismissioni apparecchiatura
Il costruttore si farà carico delle le spese necessarie allo smaltimento del prodotto secondo
quando prescritto dalla legge. Il prodotto è composto da parti non biodegradabili e sostanze che
possono inquinare l’ambiente circostante se non opportunamente smaltite. Inoltre parte di questi
materiali possono essere riciclati evitando l’inquinamento dell’ambiente. È vostro e nostro
dovere contribuire alla salute dell’ambiente.
Non disperdere nell’ambiente prodotti non biodegradabili, oli lubrificanti e componenti non ferrosi
(gomma, PVC, resine, ecc.). Effettuare il loro smaltimento nel rispetto delle leggi vigenti in
materia.
Il simbolo sopra riportato indica che il prodotto risponde ai requisiti richiesti dalle nuove direttive

The model Rolando BC 301 XW TOKEN is suitable to be used in modern kitchens, where
space to work is limited.
The TOTEM kitchen scale has 3 main functions:
1. it weighs any type of container up to 3 kg (division 1 g)
2. kitchen timer with sound alarm and integrated magnets
3. digital clock.
When it is not being used, the TOKEN weighing scale can be stored in a drawer, while its
receiver with integrated magnets can be attached onto any metal surface to use its digital clock
and timer with sound alarm functions.

General information
This manual, which is an integral part of the equipment, has been developed by the manufacturer
to provide the necessary information to those who are authorized to interact with the equipment
over the course of its lifetime.
Besides adopting sound technique when using it, the recipients of the information must carefully
read them and rigorously apply them.
Some time spent reading this information will enable the user to avoid risks to the health and
safety of individuals and economic damage.
Store this manual for the entire lifetime of the equipment in a well-known and easily accessible
place, to have at always available when it needs to be consulted.
The manufacturer reserves itself the right to make changes without the obligation to provide

Power supply
- Turn the receiver and the platform around; the battery compartment is on the back of the
platform and receiver. Open the cover and insert the battery in the compartment with the correct
polarity.
- When the LCD display reads “Lo”, open the cover of the battery compartment and replace the
battery with a new one (make sure the polarity is correct)

Timer with countdown
Scale operation
Point 1:
Press “START/MODE”: the receiver will enter countdown mode (shown on the LCD display).
Next, turn the “UP/DOWN” clockwise to increase the seconds, or counter-clockwise to decrease
them. Press “START/MODE” to start the countdown.

Turn the “UP/DOWN” key
Point 2:
While the scale is in countdown mode, by pressing “START/MODE” you can stop the timer. Now
hold “START/MODE” pressed for 2 seconds: the countdown is reset and you can set a new time
on the timer.
Point 3:
When the countdown timer displays “00:00”, the alarm will start sounding, and the timer simultaneously
starts the countdown. To silence the alarm and stop the countdown, press any key on
the scale; if the alarm has not sounded after 1 minute, the countdown will stop at “99:59” and
flash.
Weighing
Point 1:
Place the scale on the surface, properly position the receiver and scale and slightly press the
scale. When the stop light flashes, press the scale; the receiver will ring when it receives the
signal and you can start weighing once the LCD display reads zero.
Point 2:
By pressing “START/MODE” in weighing mode, you can change the unit from g to oz.
Point 3:
Place the food on the surface: the LCD display reads the weight.

Tare function
Point 1:
With the scale in weighing mode, place the container on the surface: the LCD display will show
the weight of the container.
Point 2:
Press “TARE”: the display reads zero. Reset the weight of the container. Then, place the food in
the container; the weight will be shown on the LCD display.
Point 3:
Remove the food from the container: the display shows the negative weight of the food.
Point 4:
Press “TARE” again: the display will read zero.
Error signal
• Low battery signal
When the battery in the receiver is low, the LCD display reads
When the battery in the scale is low, the LCD display reads
• Overload signal
When the weight on the scale is too high, “EEEE” will appear on the LCD display.

Setting the time
Phase 1:
When electrical power is supplied to the appliance, the time will flash on the LCD display. Turn
the “UP/DOWN” control clockwise to increase the hours and counter-clockwise to decrease
them. Press “START/MODE” to confirm the hours.
When the scale is

When the minutes start flashing, turn the control. Press “START/MODE” to confirm the minutes.

CAUTIOn:
When a clock appears on the screen, hold “ON/TARE” pressed for two seconds: you will then be
able to set the time. Follow the instructions under Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Warranty conditions
Dear Customer,
we would like to congratulate you for the purchase you’ve made, certain that the product you
have chosen will guarantee your utmost satisfaction. For your comfort, we wish to summarize
the warranty conditions valid for the product you have purchased.
- The warranty is valid from the date of purchase documented on the valid fiscal document
(receipt or invoice) for the period established by the current laws (Leg. Decree of 02.02.2002
no. 24 which implements Directive 1099/44/EC) or, in other words, for 24 months (in case you
have purchased the product with a receipt) or for 12 months (if you have purchased it with
an invoice).
- If a valid fiscal document is missing (receipt or invoice), you cannot benefit of the warranty
rights. Please be reminded that the fiscal document MUST specify the purchased product,
besides the amount.
- The right to receive customer service must be exercised with the retailer where you have
purchased the product.
- The seller is responsible for any defects of non-compliance that appear within the term of
24 months from the date the product is delivered to you, provided that the non-compliance
is reported within two months from when you first noticed it. It is customarily the consumer’s
responsibility to prove that he/she has purchased the product from the seller, the date of purchase
and the presence of any non-compliances at the time the product is delivered.
- It is a sound practice to store the package and all the accessories contained in it intact, because
should the product need to be sent to a technical lab, it is advisable to use the original
intact package with all the accessories.
- We recommend that you ship the product via carrier or insured postal package.
- This warranty does not cover the accessories, such as the brushes, cables or filters.
- The service under warranty is carried out so that the defective parts are replaced or repaired
free of charge.
- The service carried out under warranty does not extend the warranty term, nor do they start
a new warranty period.
- Any claims outside the scope of these conditions, for damages external to the product, cannot
be accepted.

Equipment disposal
The manufacturer takes responsibility for the expenses necessary to dispose of the product in
accordance with the provisions of law. The product consists of non-biodegradable parts and
substances that can pollute the surrounding environment if not properly disposed of. Moreover,
part of these materials can be recycled, avoiding pollution to the environment. It is our and your
duty to contribute to the health of the environment.
Do not litter non-biodegradable products, lubricant oils and non-iron components (rubber, PVC,
resins, etc.) into the environment. Have them disposed of in compliance with the applicable
laws.
The above symbol indicates that the product meets the requirements established by the new
Directives introduced for protection of the environment (2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC, 2002/95/
EC) and that it must be disposed of appropriately at the end of its lifetime.
Ask information to the local authorities concerning the areas reserved for waste disposal.
