The Asoframe gives solidity, lightness and a comfortable fit to the AFS 8000, AFS<br />
Evoluzione, AFS Guida. The Asoframe uses a single moulded structure combining<br />
the midsole, heelcounter and toebox. Various plastic formulae are used to alter the<br />
stiffness of the boot giving varying performance characteristics for each model.<br />

ASOFRAME CARBON KEVLAR<br />
Struttura portante ASOFRAME ottenuta da più strati di carbonio e kevlar sovrapposti.<br />
Offre il massimo in quanto a rigidità torsionale in soli 125 grammi di peso (misura 8 UK).<br />
Il sottile strato che comprende il puntale, permette di ridurre lo spessore in punta a favore di un’alta sensibilità<br />
in determinate situazioni d’uso. Utilizzata per la costruzione del modello CHOLATSE TH, è abbinata ad una zeppa<br />
in gomma microporosa a due densità provvista di scocche in PU rigido per l’aggancio di ramponi automatici<br />
e ad una suola in gomma Vibram con disegno a basso profilo. Massima leggerezza, indeformabilità,<br />
ottime prestazioni sono le caratteristiche di questo concetto di costruzione.<br />
ASOFRAME CARBON KEVLAR<br />
The ASOFRAME structure joins the toe and heel counters in one uniform chassis.<br />
Only weighing 125 grams (UK 8) in its lightest form on the new Cholatse product,<br />
it is comprised of 2 materials - Carbon and Kevlar – that are bonded together<br />
to offer maximum torsional and lateral rigidity while being virtually indestructible.<br />
In order to accept automatic crampons, a low-profile, dual-density microporous<br />
rubber midsole is combined with 2 rigid PU tools in the heel and toe areas.<br />
Maximum lightness, shape-resistant, and optimal performance are some<br />

il rampone automatico. Il battistrada in gomma a doppia densità<br />
e colore sviluppa una tappettatura tridimensionale profonda<br />
con elevate caratteristiche di grip ed auto-pulizia.<br />
Il tacco pronunciato garantisce un’ottimale tenuta in fase di discesa,<br />
mentre la parte anteriore senza scolpitura ha ottime caratteristiche<br />
in arrampicata. La scocca posteriore è realizzata tramite iniezione<br />
di tre differenti densità di poliuretano termoplastico con funzione<br />
di aggancio del rampone ed elemento ammortizzante integrato.<br />

the new Tri Fusion sole is intended for the models with automatic crampons.<br />
The dual-density and -colored rubber sole gives shape to a tri-dimensional<br />
deep tread to maximize support. The balance of the outsole has self-cleaning<br />
lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.<br />
The marked heel empowers high levels of grip down hill, while the sleek front area<br />
is perfect for climbing. The crampon insert is constructed by the injection<br />
of three different densities of thermoplastic polyurethane, which acts as a crampon<br />
attachment while performing shock-absorption duties as well.

costituito da più strati di carbonio e fibra di vetro, uni e bidirezionali.<br />
Fissato al rampone, attraverso la suola della scarpetta, costituisce un blocco unico<br />
estremamente rigido con eccezionali doti di leggerezza, stabilità e sensibilità.<br />
L’avvolgente allacciatura interna, con partenza in prossimità delle dita, permette<br />
una regolazione personalizzata, ed un conseguente bloccaggio e alloggiamento ottimale<br />
del piede in tutte le situazioni d’uso. La tomaia in materiale tecnico elasticizzato,<br />
con cerniera di chiusura impermeabile, assicura un corretto grado di termicità.<br />
Fast and ferocious. The Comp XT is designed for climbing on ice, mixed surfaces<br />
and competition. It uses a lasting board made of several layers of carbon and fiberglass<br />
which, once crampons are attached thru the sole of the inner boot, forms one extremely<br />
solid piece, granting stability, responsiveness and lightness. The internal laces, starting<br />
from the toes, offer full adjustment so that the foot is perfectly secured<br />
and comfortable in all situations and conditions. The elastic synthetic upper with<br />
the addition of waterproof zip ensures warmth and comfort are adequately managed.<br />

Restyling del già conosciuto Pulley System, il nuovo sistema aumenta<br />
notevolmente le caratteristiche tecniche ed i benefits in dimensioni piu’<br />
contenute.<br />
E’ costituito da due elementi realizzati con un procedimento<br />
di pressofusione in una lega metallica di zinco.<br />
Nella parte centrale è applicata la puleggia in ottone.<br />
Micro Pulley offre una protezione del laccio da abrasione e da taglio,<br />
facilità di chiusura, durata e comfort. Caratteristiche che permettono<br />
di omogeneizzare la pressione esercitata sul piede e gradualizzare<br />
l’avvolgimento, minimizzando la forza necessaria per chiudere<br />
completamente la calzatura.<br />

The revised and newly patented Micro Pulley uses state-of-the-art materials<br />
and components to set it apart from other conventional lacing systems.<br />
Made of four different materials (Zinc-Alloy, Brass, Steel and Zamac), the pulley system offers<br />
effortless lacing with maximum durability while remaining extremely lightweight. And because<br />
each pulley works independently with reduced lace abrasion, the result is overall improved<br />
performance, fit and comfort.<br />

Altamente tecnologica, questa proposta di suola ASOLO POWER MATIC,<br />
è realizzata con tre diverse densità di poliuretano co-iniettate.<br />
Nella parte anteriore viene impiegato un PU ad alta densità atto ad assicurare<br />
un’adeguata stabilità. Il tacco e gli elementi laterali a media densità collegati all’area<br />
plantare distribuiscono uniformemente il carico in fase di appoggio e rullata.<br />
Gli elementi a figura conica, visibili lateralmente<br />
e collegati tra loro da una base comune posti sulla zona del tacco,<br />
sono a bassa densità e svolgono una efficace azione antishock.<br />
La suola in gomma a due densità, nata da una collaborazione ASOLO/Vibram,<br />
include elementi di supporto laterali nella parte centrale. L’innovativo disegno<br />
del battistrada ad azione autopulente è stato concepito per dare un ottimo<br />
grip su diversi tipi di terreno.<br />

TECHNOLOGY<br />
Highly technical and one-of-a-kind, the Asolo POWER MATIC sole is comprised<br />
of three different PU densities that are co-injected and molded together.<br />
The high-density front portion secures and guarantees maximum stability.<br />
The medium-density heel reduces shock and resulting fatigue during<br />
take-off and landing.<br />
Further shock absorption is obtained through the four strategically<br />
placed low-density cylinders that are linked from the outsole to the midsole.<br />
Gripped with a dual-density molded rubber outsole produced in conjunction<br />
with Vibram®, the arch area uses a very high-density rubber to maximize<br />
support over the long-haul while the balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs<br />
designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.

per i tre ammortizzatori in corrispondenza dei punti di maggiore impatto con il terreno.<br />
I due strati di poliuretano, uno ad alta e l’altro a bassa densità, sono stati realizzati<br />
in due colori con l’impiego di una nuova tecnologia. Il sistema TPS garantisce più stabilità,<br />

TRIPLE POWER STRUCTURE<br />
TECHNOLOGY<br />
The new TPS sole, designed by Asolo in partnership with Vibram®,<br />
incorporates three shock absorbers that correspond with the areas of foot<br />
that receive highest impact during activity. These shock absorbers can be<br />
identified by their different color respect to the sole.<br />
The shock absorbers are created by combining two polyurethane layers<br />
- one of high and one of low density. These layers are individually coloured<br />
using a new and innovative technology. The TPS sole improves comfort,<br />
stability and has a very distinctive look.<br />

POWER LITE ASOFLEX<br />
Power Lite Asoflex si caratterizza per essere un unico<br />
elemento che congloba in sé la soletta di montaggio<br />
ed il contrafforte ottenendo una struttura bi-componente<br />
ad elevato grado di indeformabilità, garantendo<br />
una flessione graduale e controllata.<br />
Il risultato ottenuto è la diminuzione di peso rispetto<br />
ai componenti tradizionali di oltre il 40%.<br />
The Power Lite Asoflex’s main feature is the integration<br />
of the lasting board with the heel counter.<br />
They create a dual structure which is non-deformable,<br />
allowing gradual and controlled flex. Compared to traditional<br />
components, the weight is decreases by over 40%.<br />

L’obiettivo iniziale proposto è stato quello di sviluppare<br />
un insieme di elementi che oltre a svolgere le funzioni<br />
tecniche richieste avesse anche un peso contenuto.<br />
Il risultato ottenuto è una riduzione di peso di circa<br />
il 35% rispetto ai componenti tradizionali ad oggi<br />
impiegati. Partendo dal “cuore” del progetto<br />
(Power Lite Asoflex) si sviluppa la suola di nuova<br />
concezione realizzata impiegando 4 diversi tipi<br />
di materiali assemblati tra loro ottenendo<br />
un oggetto tecnicamente all’avanguardia<br />
e con un visual technology invidiabile creando<br />
un perfetto equilibrio di linee e volumi.<br />
The main objective was to develop a mix of low<br />
weight elements with high technical properties.<br />
The result is a reduction in weight of about 35%<br />
compared to the traditional components used up<br />
to today. Starting from the “heart” of the project<br />
(Power Lite Asoflex), a new generation sole is born<br />
using four different types of materials mixed together<br />
to create a technologically advanced product with<br />
appealing visual technology and assuring perfect<br />

Contrafforte in nylon elastomerizzato sviluppato a spessori<br />
differenziati seguendo la naturale anatomia della forma.<br />
The heel counter is in elastomer nylon developed in different<br />
thicknesses, following the natural foot shape anatomy.<br />
B<br />
Elemento di connessione tra pianta e contrafforte, realizzato in nylon<br />
caricato con fibra di vetro. La funzione principale è quella di fungere<br />
da ponte ed anti-torsione grazie alla struttura molecolare dei componenti<br />
impiegati. Nella zona interno/posteriore è provvisto di una serie di alette<br />
verticali coese con il contrafforte per ridurre l’effetto della pronazione.<br />
The element between the sole and the heel counter is in nylon with added<br />
fiber glass. Its main function is torsional stability, thanks to the molecular<br />
structure of its components. In the internal/back area, it is outfitted with<br />
vertical wings attached to the heel counter to prevent pronation.<br />

anche questa superficie è sviluppata a spessori differenziati<br />
con funzione di protezione dagli urti esterni e per rendere indeformabile<br />
la calzatura nella parte anteriore.<br />

to protect the foot from external impact and to preserve the shape<br />
of the front part of the shoe.<br />

Intersuola in EVA termoformata. Assicura una corretta<br />
ammortizzazione ed imprime un elevato grado di comfort<br />
su tutta la superficie di appoggio.<br />

absorbtion and high levels of comfort.<br />

Elemento esterno realizzato in Pebax bi-componente<br />
con sovra-iniettato in gomma parte del battistrada.<br />

con l’elemento esterno. Il corretto equilibrio tra altezza ed interspazi<br />

VARIO ASOFLEX TECHNOLOGY<br />
Una combinazione di tre diversi materiali per ottenere una fusione<br />
di tecnologia, prestazioni e comfort. L’elemento sottostante, a spessore<br />

La parte posteriore ha la corretta rigidità e garantisce il controllo<br />
torsionale,mentre la parte anteriore offre il giusto grado di flessione<br />

FREELAND<br />
La scocca è arricchita,nella parte superiore, da uno strato di materiale<br />
assorbente espanso che aumenta il grado di comfort su tutta la pianta<br />
del piede. Tutte le caratteristiche tecnico costruttive inoltre<br />
si differenziano per uomo, donna e misura al fine di offrire una corretta<br />
personalizzazione all’utilizzatore.<br />
VARIO ASOFLEX TECHNOLOGY<br />
Vario Asoflex technology uses three different materials to result in the optimum<br />
balance of perfomance and comfort. Supportive and protective, the lasting<br />
board is gender-specific and made of a double-injection of thermoplastic<br />
polyurethane (TPU) with a firmer density in the heel to ball area and a softer<br />
density in the forefoot that helps to maintain the correct flex throughout<br />
the stride.<br />
Atop the TPU board sits a full-length molded-EVA material which increases<br />
comfort and dampens vibrations. Graded in thickness by gender and size,<br />
Vario Asoflex offers unique adjustment for each user.<br />
