Obiettivi formativi:
- migliorare la pronuncia di suoni, parole ed enunciati
- familiarizzare con la fonetica e fonologia dell'inglese
- esaminare aspetti della pragmatica della lingua inglese
- sviluppare le abilità di ascolto, lettura e produzione orale e scritta legate ad argomenti di carattere
generale
- ampliare il proprio lessico
Contenuto dell'attività formativa:
Parte 1:
- pratica di ascolto su argomenti generali; individuazione di informazioni specifiche in testi scritti
- lettura a voce alta di brani su argomenti generali
- suoni, accento, intonazione della lingua inglese; alfabeto fonetico
Parte 2:
- struttura delle della frase e del periodo
- organizzazione del paragrafo e del testo
Communicative Functions
give information about yourself, use everyday social expressions in conversation, talk, about your possessions,
buy things in shops, say how you feel, describe places, give directions, use should and must for suggestions and
strong obligation, talk about illnesses and symptoms, speak about possibility, ask for information in a hotel,
understand notices, talk about what you have been doing recently, ask questions to get information, make phone
calls and answer the phone, say goodbye in different situations.
Vocabulary and pronunciation
parts of speech, words with more than one meaning, words and phrases to describe countries, useful phrases for
daily life, negative prefixes, time expressions, shopping, useful phrases with have, go, come, expressions used
with money, synonyms and antonyms, adverbs, health, illnesses, travel1ing abroad, jobs, music, bands and
instruments, word pairs (e.g .ladies and gentlemen, pronunciation of have, has, and had, expressions with take,
get, do, make, shops, hotels, adjectives with -ed and –ing, verbs and nouns which go together, e.g. tell a story,
phrasal verbs ( e.g. go away, take off), adverbs ( e.g. mainly, possibly, words in context
Grammar
present simple and continuous tense, questions, past simple and continuous tense- much/many, some/any, a
few/a little, etc., articles: a, the, or nothing, possessive adjectives, Saxon genitive, future intentions with going to
and wil, what ...like?, comparative and superlative adjectives, present perfect and past simple, short answers,
have (got) to, should/must, time clauses, first and second conditionals, verb patterns (2) (e.g. used to do, manage
to do, go walking)infinitive of purpose ( e.g. I went to the shops to buy something.)what, etc. + infinitive (e.g. I don't
know what to say.), something, etc. + infinitive ( e.g. I need something to eat.) so and such

Il materiale verrà preparato e fornito dalla docente dopo le lezioni.

docente durante l’intervallo e al termine delle lezioni.
