Valmont History<br />

Valmont began manufacturing steel<br />

pipe and tubing. The first product<br />

was a six inch pipe for irrigation<br />

systems, steel service centers and<br />

OEM manufacturers.<br />

In the early 1970’s, Valmont began<br />

initiating large pole expansion.<br />

Poles over 2700 mm in <strong>di</strong>ameter,<br />

33mm thick and 450 Mpa strength<br />

could be manufactured with our<br />

new break press. Capacity of the<br />

break press is 4000 tons.

In 2004, Valmont acquired two companies:<br />

1. Newmark, a manufacturer of spun concrete,<br />

tubular steel and hybrid poles for the power delivery<br />

industry. This resulted in the forming of the Valmont-<br />

Newmark <strong>di</strong>vision, which produces steel, concrete<br />

and hybrid poles for the substation, transmission<br />

and <strong>di</strong>stribution industry.

Introduzione<br />

• UNI EN12767<br />

Requisiti e meto<strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong> test per la sicurezza<br />

passiva delle strutture <strong>di</strong> supporto sulle strade<br />

– Questo standard europeo considera tre categorie<br />

<strong>di</strong> sicurezza passiva per le strutture <strong>di</strong> supporto:<br />

• Alto assorbimento <strong>di</strong> energia (HE)<br />

• Basso assorbimento <strong>di</strong> energia(LE)<br />

• Assorbimento <strong>di</strong> energia nullo (NE)


Cosa considera la norma UNIEN12767<br />

• THIV<br />

• ASI<br />

= Velocità Teorica <strong>di</strong> Testa all’Impatto<br />

= In<strong>di</strong>ce <strong>di</strong> Severità <strong>di</strong> Accelerazione<br />

Metodologia <strong>di</strong> Test & classificazione –<br />

UNIEN12767


Come si somma tutto ciò<br />

Gli ultimi modelli <strong>di</strong> safety pole – in accordo alla EN12767 –<br />

denominato 100HE3 è il prodotto più ”crash friendly” al fine <strong>di</strong><br />

evitare danni agli occupanti non solo all’atto della collisione con<br />

il palo, ma anche quando il veicolo passa attraverso il palo.


RELE safety pole<br />

• Testato e approvato in accordo alla EN12767 per raggiungere la<br />

classificazione 100HE3 (10m e 12m)<br />

• con corpo illuminante in testa o con braccio singolo o doppio,<br />

sbraccio da 1m a 2,5m<br />

• l’altezza della struttura tralicciata è <strong>di</strong> 6m, oltre tale altezza la<br />

struttura è costruita sia con braccio o con pipetta conica e braccio<br />

• punti <strong>di</strong> saldatura da Ø18mm (verticali) e Ø6mm (<strong>di</strong>agonali); il tutto<br />

in acciaio a basso contenuto <strong>di</strong> silicio S235 per assicurare I migliori<br />

risultati <strong>di</strong> zincatura<br />

• LED decorativo opzionale per la parte tralicciata<br />

• Diametro <strong>di</strong> base del palo da 8m=121mm; 10m=159mm,<br />

12m=219mm<br />

• possibilità <strong>di</strong> copertura per la parte tralicciata se richiesto


Perchè scegliere RELE invece <strong>di</strong> una<br />

alternativa <strong>di</strong>fferente<br />

• Performance <strong>di</strong> 1 ma classe, HE3<br />

• Possibilità <strong>di</strong> usare bracci mono e doppi L=1 * 2 x 2,5 metri<br />

• IL palo grazie alla sua conformazione e all’utilizzo dei LED<br />

nel traliccio , contribuisce per quanto riguarda la guida<br />

ottica.<br />
