di quarzo e feldspati. Originaria della vallata
di Cogne, si forma a notevole profondità a
causa di cambiamenti nella pressione e nella
temperatura della crosta terrestre.
Grey albititic metamorphic gneiss containing
large amounts of quartz and feldspars. Quarried
in the Cogne valley, it forms at considerable
depths due to variations in the pressure and
temperature of the earth’s crust.
Gneiss métamorphique albitique gris, riche en
quartz et en feldspaths. Originaire de la vallée de
Cogné, il se forme à une profondeur remarquable
à cause des changements de pression et de
température de la croûte terrestre.
Ein metamorpher Albit-Gneiss, grau und reich
an Quarz und Feldspat. Er stammt aus dem
Cogne-Tal in Italien und wird in großer Tiefe in
Folge von Veränderungen der Temperatur- und
Druckbedingungen der Erdkruste gebildet.
