Il sito proponeconsigli sul design, sui più recenti trenddel colore, sugli strumenti per pitturaree sulle migliori tecniche per prepararele superfici e per applicare le pitture.Il progetto si basa sull’idea che unconsumatore più informato pitturerà piùspesso, sceglierà i prodotti più adattialle sue esigenze e di maggiore qualità.In Europa PQI è attivo in Germania,Francia, Inghilterra, Svezia e presto losarà anche in Italia e Spagna.Il colore e la distribuzione presenterà “Icanali distributivi emergenti”. I rapidicambiamenti in atto nell’ambito delladistribuzione lasciano intravedere, infatti,il potenziale allargamento della multicanalitàcon la nascita di nuove ulterioritipologie distributive, destinate, probabilmente,a modificare i rapporti diforza nella distribuzione del colore.Il colore e la legislazione, infine, proporràun aggiornamento delle problematichelegislative grazie all’intervento deldottor Jacques Warnon, Direttore TecnicoCEPE, Consiglio Europeo dei Produttorie Importatori di pitture e inchiostrida stampa, con una relazione dal titolo:"La riduzione dei composti organicivolatili nelle pitture per edilizia".Dal gennaio 2007, come è noto, in tuttii Paesi membri dell'Unione Europea(EU) il contenuto dei Composti OrganiciVolatili (VOC) nelle pitture per ediliziaè regolato dalla Direttiva 2004/42/EC.I produttori di pitture hanno già dovutoadattare i loro prodotti alle restrizioni imposteda questo primo step legislativo.Nuovi limiti sul contenuto di VOC nellepitture per edilizia sono entrati però invigore dal 1° gennaio 2010. I produttoristanno quindi immettendo sul mercatonuovi prodotti rispondenti agli obblighiimposti dalla seconda fase di attuazionedella normativa. Si svolgeranno in unospazio, all’interno dell’area espositiva,dotato di tutte le attrezzature audiovisive,a cui i visitatori accederanno gratuitamente.Completeranno la parte Eurocoat glieventi conviviali. The websiteoffers advices on design, on the latestcolour trends, on painting tools, and on thebest practices to prepare surfaces and applypaints. The project is based on the idea thata more educated consumer will paint more oftenand will choose higher quality products,more appropriate to his needs. In Europe PQIis active in Germany, France, UK, Sweden andsoon in Italy and Spain too.Colour and distribution will introduce “Theemerging distribution channels”, with anupdating on the information resulting fromthe new distribution survey at present inprogress. New limits on VOC contentin building paints have been introducedsince 1st January 2010. All the producers aretherefore now offering new products alreadycomplaint with the rules imposed by the secondstep of the law implementation.
