Here, in winter, between beech trees and glades you can practisecross-country and ski mountaineering as well as snowshoeing in fresh snow.At the Cross-country skiing Centre in Sant’Eufemia you can rent all theequipment for skiing.The rings are those in the area of Lama Bianca (1300 m): a ratherchallenging ring wounds up and down inside a fairy beech wood allowing toenjoy charming scenarios. A smaller ring winds around the old pasture(1226 m), today a CAI refuge, accessible by snowmobile leaving from thecentre of the village. The beating of the slopes is provided in good snowconditions. With snowshoes you can go hiking from Macere Piane up toMacchiola and Lama Bianca.
