SUMMARYA research team of the University of Perugia, <strong>in</strong>cooperation with University of Pavia, is carry<strong>in</strong>g out a <strong>comfort</strong>analysis <strong>in</strong>side university classrooms. The <strong>in</strong>vestigation hadbegan, <strong>in</strong> previous studies, from a wide experimentalcampaign led <strong>in</strong> three classrooms, different for geographicalposition and exposure, air condition<strong>in</strong>g systems andarchitectural characteristics. Dur<strong>in</strong>g the campaign, all dataneeded to calculate both Fanger and Wray <strong>comfort</strong> <strong>in</strong>diceswere acquired by <strong>in</strong>strumental surveys and questionnairecompilation. By means of results analysis, the two couples ofparameters PMV - (T eu - T u ) and PPD - |T eu - T u | were related,notic<strong>in</strong>g a l<strong>in</strong>ear function for the first and a second orderpolynomial function for the second. F<strong>in</strong>ally the values ofOperative Temperature T o and Equivalent UniformTemperature T eu , calculated for each s<strong>in</strong>gle experimentalsurvey, were compared, observ<strong>in</strong>g a very good agreementbetween the two quantities, with differences that exceed 0.1 Konly for a few number of values.
