Of course it was but, to reachthe goal, the members of the Boardof Directors had to fly across five countries:Europe, America, Asia, Africa andAustralia, even for the Olympic games.And this wasn’t easy!2000 was a particular year: the end ofthe millennium, the Jubilee, the Olympicgames in Sidney… no future year willbe comparable to this one. All thesefactors made it possible for Ibssa to developand to get off to a good start.The Congress of Caorle – 16/19MarchThe support of the Ministry of Justiceand Oliviero Diliberto, of the RegionalAffairs and Katia Bellillo, allowed Ibssato enter the showbiz world with a greatdeal of services. It was the year of Italy,a country which started quietly inBudapest in 1994, and which gainedits own prestige.No doubt that the merit goes to itsPresident, Dr. Giuseppe Stante, who, inthe past, had important tasks in the financialand political world. And Italyentered the real world of security. Apartfrom conferences, which will take anew line in Bucharest (Rumania) in2001, great interest was shown for tacticsand techniques, presented by thetrio of the EQ Department: Rony Kluger,Miklos Varga and Giacomo SpartacoBertoletti.Caorle (Italy) is a starting point, not theend. During this 6° Congress started theofficial bilingual Ibssa magazine —Sportivo — as the Chairman of theDepartment, Mr. Bertoletti, had proposedduring the Bucharest Congress in1999. We have already issued ninenumbers with two covers dedicated toKatia Bellillo (February) and to OlivieroDiliberto (April); this was only the beginning.Nowadays there are some organizationsthat train persons to become bodyguards.Ibssa is organizing, with greatcompetence, a lot of courses in theBalkans, in Israel, Russia, Italy,Switzerland and in France; during thesecourses some qualified teachers trainthe candidates and prepare them for theexams, according to the regulations statedby the different Departments.To test the first group in Italy came, forexample, Rony Kluger — besides ofcourse, Gsb —. The Italian team, ledby Roberto Gobbi (responsible for thecourses) and by the masters Roberto DeRonzi, Eugenio Fasulo, have already organizeda series of courses for 2001.Sarebbe semplice scrivere che è statoun anno positivo. Sì, certo, lo è statoma per raggiungere gli obiettivi i membridel Consiglio direttivo hanno dovutovolare nei cinque continenti: Europa,America, Asia, Africa e Oceania, ancheper le Olimpiadi. E ciò non è statofacile.Il 2000 è stato un anno particolare conla fine del Secondo Millennio, ilGiubileo, le Olimpiadi di Sydney... nessunaltro anno futuro lo eguaglierà. Tuttequeste componenti hanno fatto sì che iprogetti necessari per lo sviluppodell’Ibssa prendessero un grande avvio.Congresso di Caorle - 16/19marzoIl supporto dei ministri della Giustizia,Oliviero Diliberto, e degli AffariRegionali, Katia Bellillo, ha permessoall’Ibssa di entrare nel mondo della tvcon servizi d’ampio respiro. E’ stato unpo’ l’anno dell’Italia, Paese che, partitoin sordina nel 1994 a Budapest, si èguadagnato sul campo un proprio prestigio.Il merito va, senza ombra di dubbio, alsuo presidente, dottor Giuseppe Stante,uomo che nel passato ha ricoperto incarichidi primo piano nel mondo della finanzae della politica. Tutto questo hacatapultato l’Italia nel mondo reale dellasicurezza. Al di là dei lavori congressuali,che troveranno una nuova lineanel 2001 a Bucarest (Romania), si è datoampio spazio al tecnicismo e tatticismo,presentato dal trio delDipartimento di educazione e qualificazione:Rony Kluger, Miklos Varga eGiacomo Spartaco Bertoletti.Caorle (Italia) è da considerare un puntodi partenza e non certo d’arrivo. E’con questo sesto congresso che è partitala rivista ufficiale dell’Ibssa —Sportivo —, bilingue, come il charmandel dipartimento Bertoletti aveva propostoal congresso di Budapest nel 1999.Sono già usciti 9 numeri con due copertinededicate ai ministri Katia Bellillo(febbraio) e Oliviero Diliberto (aprile) esiamo solo agli inizi.Esistono oggi una serie di organizzazioniche addestrano e formano persone diprovata onestà alla professione dibodyguard.
