Quali sono i tre aggettivi che ti rappresentano meglio?
Affettuosa, divertente, piuttosto distratta.
Che vuol dire essere una donna contemporanea?
Riuscire a far sembrare semplice lavorare, crescere dei figli e avere
un matrimonio felice.
Cos’è contemporaneo nella moda?
La libertà. Esprimersi attraverso l’abito, conoscere le tendenze ma non
esserne mai davvero ossessionata. Avere il proprio gusto e con
questo costruire il proprio stile. È quello che infatti mi piace di più di
Pinko: in una sola collezione puoi scegliere di adattare con lo styling
ogni capo alla tua personalità.
Qual è la tua idea di femminilità?
Qualcosa che un uomo ami.
Cosa ti piace di più nella moda?
Gli stivali e le giacche. Di questa collezione Pinko in particolare adoro
il chiodo con i dettagli di pizzo e lo spolverino leggero lungo fino ai
piedi, blu. Non è perfetto con le sneaker gialle?
La scarpa perfetta? Stivaletti alla caviglia con il tacco medio.
Come ti immagini fra 5 anni?
Sposata, con un altro figlio e più che solo una modella: spero di avere
una mia azienda.
E tra 15 anni?
Una cosa in più per ogni punto della lista precedente, ad eccezione
del matrimonio! Vorrei averne solo uno, di quelli…
Cosa ti rende felice? I miei amici.
E cosa ti rende triste? Essere sola, a volte.
Il tuo sogno più grande? Abbastanza semplice, in realtà: avere una
famiglia felice e una carriera solida.
La paura più grande?
Diventare, invecchiando, una persona triste e scontrosa.
Com’è Arizona nella vita personale?
Una persona divertente e onesta, e innamorata dei suoi amici.
E nella vita professionale?
Calma e naturale… Provo anche a mettere più divertimento che
posso nel lavoro.
Qual è la tua idea di amicizia?
Dovrebbe essere semplice. Nessuna difficoltà, mai bisogno di spiegazioni
e mai giudicare.
Qual è la tua idea dell’amore?
Il vero amore prende e si merita più dell’amicizia. Dovrebbe essere
anch’esso semplice, ma mantenere sempre la volontà di fare attenzione
l’uno all’altro, di amarsi e aiutarsi a crescere.
La tua idea di bellezza?
Lo stile degli anni ’40. Straordinario, lo amo.
La tua idea di successo?
Ricevere il riconoscimento per quello che hai raggiunto. Potrebbe
anche essere solo un piccolo complimento da un collega. Non penso
che serva ricevere un premio per dimostrare di avere avuto successo.
Quali sono i valori più importanti nella vita? L’onestà e la lealtà verso
te stesso, ancora più che verso le altre persone.
Sei cresciuta a Santa Fe, il cuore della cultura hippie americana: ti ha
influenzato? E come?
Io odio gli hippies! No, ovviamente scherzo! Amo tutto di loro.
Qual è la prima cosa che fai quando ti svegli?
Dare un bacio a mio figlio.
E l’ultima prima di andare a dormire?
Dare un bacio al mio fidanzato…
Se dico fiore, tu dici… Prato.
Se dico natura, dici… Scarpe da outdoor!
Se dico vita, tu dici… Meravigliosa!
Se dico futuro, tu dici… Yeah!
Qual è la tua abitudine segreta? Quella cosa che fai quando nessuno
ti guarda? Mi controllo la pelle… un po’ troppo spesso!
Come è fatto il tuo giorno perfetto?
Dormire (magari in un albergo), uova per colazione. Un po’ di
allenamento, poi un lungo pranzo con gli amici e un bicchiere di vino
da bere prima di un giro al museo o di una passeggiata al parco. Un
po’ di shopping, tornare a casa per un rapido cambio d’abito, pronta
per la serata con un appuntamento sexy!
Per cosa sei grata nella tua vita?
Per mio figlio, la famiglia, gli amici e… Londra

What are the 3 adjectives that represent you best?
Loving, fun, somewhat forgetful.
What’s a contemporary woman?
One who manages to make it look easy to have a job, raise kids and
have a happy marriage.
What’s contemporary in fashion?
Freedom. Express yourself freely using your clothes. You can know
perfectly all the fashion trends, surfing them without any obsession.
Using your personal taste to build your own style. That’s what I
appreciate most in Pinko: in their collections you can choose and
adapt the clothes with a styling that fits your body and your soul.
What’s your personal idea of femininity?
Being something that a man loves.
What do you like the best in fashion?
Boots and jackets. In this Pinko SS 16 collection I especially love the
biker jacket with the lace details and the light-weight, ankle length,
blue coat. Aren’t they amazing with those yellow sneakers?
The perfect shoes? Ankle boot with a low heel.
What if you imagine you in 5 years from now?
Married, another child, more than just a model, hopefully my own
business.
One more of each thing on the previous list, except for the marriage!
I’d like to just have one of those.
What does make you happy? My friends.
And what does make you sad? Being lonely sometimes.
The biggest dream?
Pretty simple actually, to have a happy family and a steady career.
And the biggest fear?
To become grumpy and melancholy when I’m old.
Who is Arizona in her personal life?
Fun and honest and in awe of my friends.
And how is she in her professional life?
Calm and well natured...
I try to bring fun into my work too if I can.
What’s your idea of friendship?
Friendship should be easy in my opinion. It should be uncomplicated
and never need explaining. And Non judgmental.
What’s your idea of love?
True Love takes and deserves more work than friendship. There
should be a fundamental ease but also a willingness to pay attention
to love and help it to grow.
What’s your idea of beauty?
I find the 1940’s made up look extraordinary. I love it.
What’s your idea of success?
Receiving recognition for what you’ve achieved. This could be as small
as a simple compliment from a colleague. I don’t think you need to
receive an award to have attained success.
What are the most important values in life?
Honesty, and loyalty to yourself- more than to other people.
You grew up in Santa Fe, the heart of the American hippie culture: did
it influence you? And how?
I hate hippies. Just kidding. I love all things
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Give my son a kiss.
And the last before going to bed?
Give my boyfriend a kiss.
When I say flower you say… Field.
When I say nature you say… Outdoor shoes!
When I say life you say? Amazing!
When I say future you say? Yay!
What’s your “secret habit”? The thing you do only when no one’s
watching? I inspect my skin way too often!
What would constitute a perfect day for you?
Sleeping in (maybe in a hotel)... Eggs for breakfast. Exercise, then a
long lunch with friends and perhaps a cheeky glass of wine, before a
stroll through a museum or a walk through the park, then maybe a
little shopping before going home for a wardrobe change, ready for
a sexy date night!
For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
My son, family, friends, London!
