Adjusting the volume of<br />

the subwoofer(s)<br />

1 Press (SOURCE) to select a source (radio,<br />

CD or MD).<br />

2 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “SUB”<br />

appears.<br />

3 Rotate the dial to adjust the volume.<br />

After three seconds, the display goes back<br />

to the normal playback mode.<br />

Adjusting the frequency of the<br />

subwoofer(s)<br />

To match the characteristics of the connected<br />

subwoofer(s), you can cut the unwanted high<br />

and middle frequency signals entering the<br />

subwoofer(s). By setting the cut-off frequency<br />

(see the diagram below), the subwoofer(s) will<br />

output only low frequency signals so that you<br />

can get a clearer sound image.<br />

Adjusting the volume of<br />

the bass and treble<br />

You can adjust the volume of the bass and<br />

treble to best fit the acoustic characteristics<br />

inside your car.<br />

1 Press (SOURCE) to select a source (radio,<br />

CD or MD).<br />

2 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “BAS” or<br />

“TRE” appears.<br />

3 Rotate the dial to adjust the volume.<br />

After three seconds, the display goes back<br />

to the normal playback mode.<br />

Adjusting the turn-over frequency<br />

You can adjust the bass and treble turn-over<br />

frequencies.<br />
