WELCOME TO TECH
The MBP| TECH range is our own exclusive range of
ceramic materials designed and manufactured in Italy.
Specifically used for kitchens, bathrooms, and wall
cladding, the pattern seen on the face of the material is
created using super-high-definition printers. The
benefits of using a printed surface are its repeatability
and there are no natural material defects or undesirable
natural markings. Varying by material, our ceramics
come in a polished or satin finish to create a truly
bespoke look for the customer.

BOOK-MATCHING
One of the huge advantages of opting for a ceramic
product such as worktops, splashbacks, or wall
cladding, is the ability to create stunning bookmatches.
Book-matching is where two mirror-imaged pieces of
ceramic are placed together to create something like
what is shown here.
The consistency of the ceramic pattern printing allows
for a "perfectly symmetrical" book-match, something
that isn't achievable with natural stone due to its natural
variations from slab to slab. With ceramics, the material
patterning is more likely to line up and give better
symmetry.
Though the book-matching of ceramics are usually
more accurate than natural stone, the match is subject
to material tolerances in the slab print and in some
instances, not every area of patterning will line up
perfectly.

PORTAL
In early 2020 we launched our online trade portal. Two years of development, supported by 30 years of expertise and know-how
resulted in a portal which provides our customers with a tool to help them offer their customer more. The underpinning ethos of the
portal is to continuously and reliably support our customers.
The portal offers an in-depth review of our collections, including images of slabs, installed worktops and technical guidelines,
designed to help clients make an informed work surface decision.
The portal also enables us to train our customers, allowing them to pass their knowledge onto clients, instilling trust in the products
and services the end-user is purchasing.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The work surface industry relies heavily on our planet,
from natural marbles and granites to the mineral
ingredients used to produce the man-made products
we supply. We are very conscious of our environmental
impact and focus on ways to reduce it.
Our waste stone, roughly 2000 tonnes per year, is
crushed and recycled for use in the construction industry.
Our 270,000 sq ft facility is heated solely by low carbon,
renewable biomass heating systems. The water used
in our factory is continuously cleaned and recycled to
ensure we never draw from the local water supply.
We continue to search for new and innovative ways to
lessen our impact and protect the planet which has
given us so much.
