and especially neutral uni colours continues to grow.” Neutral uni colours define designoriented
cubic shapes and linear designs. Central topics also include dark thermo oak
decors with a varied interplay of colour, elegant oak decors with natural colours and knots
as well as almost white woodgrain decors with slight colour nuances that create a harmonious
design with warm, grey uni colours, individualising the neutrality of the design with
warmth and nature. Texture meets colour is found in the combination of uni colours with
deep, highly defined textures. “Decors no longer work without surfaces today, since the
surfaces define the character of a decor,” Klaus Monhoff says. Interesting surfaces at this
time are Authentic ST10, a matt and rough texture as well as Waveline ST18, Natural Pore
ST11 and Painted Wood ST26, where the interplay of linear and lively sections gives the
surface a natural appearance.
