Mountain City, TN–It’s not unusual for a customer to call New River Hardwoods Inc., headquartered here, on a Friday morning and then receive notice that the requested order was already loaded, out the door, and on the road that very afternoon. Many times, in fact, that load of lumber will be as far away as Texas by Monday morning, sitting at the customer’s warehouse and ready to use.
