Fall Begins With HMA Regional Meeting Photos By Chris Fehr Members and guests of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA) recently gathered in St. Marys, PA, for the association’s fall regional meeting. After an HMA Board of Directors meeting kicked off the event, tours were held at the following lumber manufacturers’ facilities (the following information provided by HMA’s program agenda): Bradford Forest Products Located near the Pennsylvania-New York border in Bradford, PA, Bradford Forest Products, part of the Rossi Group since 2021, specializes in high-quality Cherry, Hard and Soft Maple, Red and White Oak, and Ash. The HMA tour included two Rossi Group facilities: Bradford Forest Products and Emporium Hardwoods. Emporium Hardwoods Emporium Hardwoods, nestled in Emporium, PA, is a state-of-the-art operation touting two double cut slant head-rigs, two band re-saws, and a sorting line with 37 automated bays to ensure a maximum range of sizes and grades before stacking and kiln drying.
