She started her career in the forest products industry in an inventory management and logistics position. She has held her current position at Pleasant River Lumber for two years. Davenport is married to Barry, who owns/operates a trucking company that delivers for Pleasant River Lumber. They have been married for 20 years and have one son, Bode. In her spare time, Davenport enjoys coaching youth league basketball and traveling to her son’s dirt bike races and other sporting events. The family enjoys skiing at the nearby Sugarloaf ski resort. His first position in the forest products industry was in 1974 on a logging crew. He felled and bucked trees in the position of timber faller, also called a cutter. Other positions he has held include green chain lumber puller, trimmer operator on the hula saws, plainer feeder and grader, forklift driver, forklift and truck mechanic and swing shift resaw supervisor. In his current position as national account manager he serves as a single point of contact for customers across the United States. As a member of the sales team he sells all products from all four of the company’s sawmills. He is also the main inventory control contact for the company’s Shelton, WA, sawmill. Alta Forest Products is a member of the American Fence Association (AFA) and the North American Wholesale Lumber Association. The company received the manufacturer of the year award from the AFA in 2015. In his spare time, Pellham enjoys family vacations to the Oregon sand dunes, as well as camping trips to the state parks in Oregon and Washington. He also enjoys gardening and landscaping with his wife, Jodi. The couple has been married for 36 years and they have two sons, one grandson and one granddaughter.
