QUICK NAME: You may search by a person’s name or by the name of a subdivision. Whensearching by the subdivision, type the subdivision name like Riversedge, in the Last/Firm Name.Select Search (Directory)BOOK/PAGE: Another method is to search for a specific plat cabinet and slide. This methodrequires that you know exactly where the plat is recorded. On the Search page, choose tosearch by Book/Page. In the Book/Page Search menu screen type the word PLAT in the Bookfield, and in the Page field, type the slide or page number you are looking for. Select Search.The search will take you to a page displaying all the plats recorded in the Register of Deedsunder this slide/page number. You must then choose the book or cabinet that you are lookingfor. If you don’t know what the plat reference is you may try looking at the deed online first tosee if the legal description tells you where the plat is recorded. Another way is to search for theparcel in the County Online Interactive Maps. Sometimes the deed and plat references can befound there.
