Before starting treatment:<br />
Assess blood pressure, liver, cardiac and renal function<br />
and K + levels<br />
Review other medications and possible interactions<br />
During treatment:<br />
Continue LHRH (ant)agonist, continue or start prednisone<br />
Monitor blood pressure, edema, K + (potassium) levels and<br />
liver function tests<br />
Adjust dose when indicated<br />
When to stop treatment:<br />
In case of unmanageable or intolerable toxicities<br />
In case of progression (PSA + radiographic + clinical)<br />
