Hidden Sydney
There are a few hidden treasures within Sydney that the normal travel guides don't mentioned:
1. Palm Beach - Ettalong
You can catch a local bus to the Palm Beach and then catch a ferry to Ettalong Beach. You will
feel miles from nowhere. Visit the local RSL for a feed and some pokies.
2. Royal National Park
This is the second oldest National Park after Yellowstone. You can catch a train to Cronulla and
then a ferry to Bundeena. From there find the way to Jibbon Beach. As you walk past the clothes
free beach you will find aboriginal carvings in the rocks and great view over the coast.
3. Spit to Manly Walk
Catch a bus from Wynyard to Manly/DeeWhy and get off at the Spit Bridge. From there walk from
the north side and follow the signs as you meander around Middle Harbour and great views over
the Harbour. End up at Manly pier for a ferry or Hydrofoil ride back to Sydney Circular Quay.
4.Watson bay
Take a ferry ride or bus to Watson bay, follow the the signs for a short walk around South Head
the southern sentential to Sydney Harbour. You will end up at the Gap a short walk to Doyle's
pub where over a meal of fish and chips (good running foods) you get a great view over the
Harbour to the bridge.
