Welkom bij Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong> 2015!<br />
Gedurende twee dagen is het Zuiderstrandtheater<br />
in Den Haag dé plek waar<br />
nationale en internationale (straat)<br />
artiesten, jongleurs, acrobaten en virtuoze<br />
muzikanten zich zullen presenteren.<br />
Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong> 2015 is het ideale evenement<br />
voor festivalprogrammeurs en<br />
eventmanagers op zoek naar programmering<br />
voor congressen, (straat)festivals,<br />
beurzen en andere evenementen.<br />
De unieke combinatie van veel optredens<br />
en een overzichtelijke beursvloer<br />
waar aanbieders, artiesten en potentiële<br />
klanten elkaar kunnen ontmoeten<br />
maakt Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong> 2015 een evenement<br />

Welcome<br />
Welcome at Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong> 2015! For two<br />
days the Zuiderstrandtheater in The Hague<br />
will be the place to be for Dutch and international<br />
(street) artists, jugglers, acrobats and<br />
virtuoso musicians presenting themselves<br />
to the public. Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong> 2015 is the<br />
perfect event for festival programmers and<br />
event managers looking for programme<br />
material for conventions, (street) festivals,<br />
fairs and other events.<br />
With its unique combination of a vast<br />
amount of performances and a well-organised<br />
floor, where suppliers, artists and prospective<br />
buyers can meet, Strtfstvl <strong>showcase</strong><br />
2015 is an event that is not to be missed.<br />

In een grijs gebied tussen Beeldende<br />
kunst en Theater, maakt Abacus Theater<br />
mobiele visuele acts van uitzonderlijk<br />
hoog niveau. Spectaculaire creaties en<br />
kunstzinnige machines uit vreemde<br />
werelden en andere tijden. Zij verschijnen<br />
op straattheaterfestivals, op<br />

Breath-taking openings and grand finales<br />

Portretdichter<br />
De persoon op de barkruk wordt door<br />
Bert Wagenaar geportretteerd doordat<br />
hij live een gedicht schrijft naar<br />
aanleiding van een gesprek met een<br />
aantal wezenlijke vragen. Als extra<br />
opdracht kan er gevraagd worden een<br />
woord erin te verwerken dat bij toeval<br />
wordt getrokken. Bijvoorbeeld: ‘leven,<br />
kunst en trilling’.<br />
Portrait Poet<br />
The person on the barstool is having his portrait<br />
taken by Bert, as he writes a poem, live,<br />
on the basis of a conversation with a number<br />
of very essential questions. As an extra<br />
option, a word can be asked to be included in<br />
the poem, which word will be picked at random.<br />
For example: ‘life, art and vibration’.<br />

Boris ‘the Lion bot’<br />
Elektronisch circus en straattheater met<br />
robots. De afgelopen 20 jaar trad Oriol<br />
Aubets op, schreef en regisseerde voor<br />
theater en film. In Circatronic bespreekt<br />
hij de bestaande en toekomstige technologie<br />
in een komische omgeving met<br />
gebruikmaking van robotica en digitale<br />
techniek. Boris The Lionbot vertelt het<br />
grappige verhaal van een robot-leeuw en<br />
zijn retro-futuristische maar heel serieuze<br />
temmer.<br />

Voorstelling Kalverliefde<br />
Het is koffietijd voor boer Driekus en<br />
zijn vrouw Bertha. Hun spel van plagen<br />
en uitdagen groeit uit tot acrobatische<br />
romantiek op de keukentafel. Dit blijkt<br />
stiekem erg leuk te worden. Boerenoerkracht<br />
en ragfijne finesse blijken de drijfveer<br />
om de huiselijke hobbels het hoofd<br />
te bieden. Een gewaagd schouwspel dat<br />
met vrolijk en fysiek theater ten tonele<br />
wordt gebracht voor alle leeftijden.<br />

a farmer and his wife. A game of teasing<br />
and challenging moves towards acrobatic<br />
romance on the kitchen table. Quite unexpectedly<br />
and secretly, this is going to be<br />

Dansen met meterslange lappen en dan<br />
ineens naar beneden vallen, maar toch<br />
net boven de grond stoppen. Een act<br />
waarin spektakel en elegantie elkaar<br />
afwisselen en waarin mens en lappen<br />

Dancing with long, long rags and then drop<br />
down, all of a sudden, but stop just before<br />
hitting the floor. A performance combining<br />

De Circusglobe is een doorzichtige bal<br />
van 4,5 meter, het toneel van een sprookjesachtige<br />
familievoorstelling. Poetische<br />
clowns en magische acts, afgewisseld<br />
met een flitsende jongleur , zullen u<br />
verbazen vanuit de Globe. Gedurende 30<br />
minuten verandert de werkelijkheid in<br />
een droomwereld waarvan u kunt genieten.<br />
Er is ook een speciale winter-versie:<br />
‘SnowGlobeCircus’.<br />
The CircusGlobe is a transparent balloon<br />
measuring 4.5 meters, staging a fairy-tale of<br />
a family show. Clowns reciting poetry, magical<br />
acts and a flashy juggler will surprise<br />
you from inside of the Globe. Reality will be<br />
enjoyed as a dreamworld for 30 minutes. We<br />

De Kleine Prins is een animatie-act gebaseerd<br />
op het beroemde boek van Antoine<br />
de Saint-Exupéry. De prins rijdt rond<br />
met een rijdend stukje planeet. De kleine<br />
prins verwondert zich en maakt op zijn<br />
manier contact met het publiek. Hij<br />
heeft zijn roos, zijn vulkaan, zijn eigenwijsheid.<br />
The Little Prince is an animation act based<br />

riding piece of planet. The little prince wonders<br />

‘Love has wheels’<br />
Deze acrobaten vertellen hun romantische<br />
verhalen terwijl ze balanceren op,<br />
onder en rondom allerlei soorten fietsen.<br />
In ‘Love has wheels’ leiden twee waaghalzen<br />
elk hun eigen leven. Na een romantische<br />
ontmoeting op één BMX-fiets gaan<br />
ze op zoek naar nieuwe uitdagingen.<br />
Hun fietsen krijgen steeds minder wielen,<br />
houvast blijkt wankeler dan verondersteld.<br />

These acrobats tell their romantic tales while<br />
keeping their balance on, below and around<br />
all sorts of bicycles. In ‘Love has wheels’ two<br />

The Pigeon Catcher is a man in an overall<br />
coat behind a wheelcart, constantly looking<br />
at the sky and calling. He has been catching<br />
pigeons all his life, as he is a pigeon fancier.<br />
But today one of his champ pigeons was<br />

Deze vrijstaande locatie aan de haven beschikt over<br />
een theaterzaal met 1.000 (vaste) stoelen, 5 foyers<br />
(125 tot 400 m2), een groot podium (toepasbaar<br />
als blackbox van ruim 500 m2) en ca. 700 parkeerplaatsen!<br />
De totale capaciteit voor een feestavond<br />
bedraagt circa 2.000 gasten. Alle foyers beschikken<br />
bovendien over veel daglicht en uitzicht op de haven,<br />
de duinen of de zee.<br />

Door slechts één of meerdere foyers en/of het podium<br />
te gebruiken is het theater ook geschikt voor<br />

van het theater u bij de organisatie van een congres<br />
of evenement. Het theater werkt samen met een<br />
aantal geselecteerde partners op het gebied van<br />

keuze uit gemaakt die het beste aansluit bij het<br />
