kunst en Theater, maakt Abacus Theater
mobiele visuele acts van uitzonderlijk
hoog niveau. Spectaculaire creaties en
kunstzinnige machines uit vreemde
werelden en andere tijden. Zij verschijnen
op straattheaterfestivals, op
beurzen, tijdens openingen, jubilea, als
entree-act bij feesten enz. Niet op een
podium maar tussen de mensen. Als
walkact, parade, improvisatietheater.

theatre, Abacus Theatre makes high-class

A multi-dimensional haute-cuisine spectacle
presenting comfortable stunts with a pinch
of salt. The three theatrical cooks attempt
to set the table and present their new recipe,
but their fantasy takes the lead. Zorro, the
Statue of Liberty, Maria a Chines lion, knife
throwers and Superman all appear on stage.
Hefty chases, juicy stunts, al dente acrobatics
and slapstick keep the audience totally
entranced.

A unique interdisciplinary street theatre performance
about the roles of private, public
and mental walls that combines dance with
live digital graffiti art. The performance
collects all kinds of urban graffiti into one
playful story that follows the evolution of a
character from her birth, through her fights,
until she discovers special inner powers. The
piece received the Jury’s Award in 2013.
