De Marionette<br />
De marionettespeler komt met grote<br />
trage passen aangelopen. Dan opent hij<br />
zijn kist en komt ‘de marionette’ tevoorschijn.<br />
Het frivole stel beweegt zich door<br />
de ruimte. Met haar fraaie bewegingen<br />
bespeelt ze het publiek. Hup, op haar<br />
spitzen de hoogte in en dan weer op<br />
de grond. Een zachte streling. Een lief<br />
gebaar. De act wordt ondersteund door<br />
(live) harpmuziek. Ook: ‘Laguna’.<br />
The puppet player arrives with his chest. He<br />
moves slowly with big steps. Then, the player<br />
opens the chest and takes out his favourite<br />
toy, the puppet. The frivolous couple moves<br />
around in space. The beautiful puppet<br />
dances around. Up, on its toes and back down<br />
on the ground. She moves the public by her<br />
wonderful movements. A soft caress, a sweet<br />
gesture. The act is supported by (live) harpsichord<br />
music. Passar also plays ‘Laguna’.<br />

Theatergroep Piepschuim speelt jaarlijks<br />
op festivals en sinds 2010 avondvullend<br />
in de theaters in Nederland en Vlaanderen.<br />
De groep vermengt muziek, theater<br />
en cabaret. Piepschuim brengt gelaagde,<br />
talige, muzikale voorstellingen die niet<br />
begrensd worden door muzikale of theatrale<br />
genres en waarin er authentiek<br />
contact ontstaat met het publiek.<br />
‘Zo doen we dat hier!’ is een soundtrack<br />
van de straat.Het karakter van haar<br />
bewoners, de kleine wrijvinkjes en pleziertjes<br />
komen tot leven. Ondertussen<br />
voelt Piepschuim onze gedeelde normen<br />
en waarden stevig aan de tand. Het welkome<br />
gevoel dat de bezoeker heeft, zal<br />
tijdens de voorstelling plaatsmaken voor<br />
een mild gevoel van beklemming. ‘Zo<br />
doen we dat hier’ ging in premiere op<br />
Oerol festival 2014.<br />
Piepschuim has been playing annually at<br />
(theatre) festivals in the Netherlands since<br />
2008, and organizes all-night performances<br />
in Dutch and Flemish theatres since 2010. The<br />
group combines music, theatre and cabaret.<br />
Styrofoam can be characterized by its<br />
layered, linguistic, musical performances,<br />
crossing the boundaries of musical or theatrical<br />
genres and making real contact with the<br />

Poppie draagt opvallende kostuums<br />
waarin zij haar deuntjes vouwt of rolt.<br />
Kom je Poppie tegen dan mag je een<br />
deuntje pakken uit haar kostuum en dat<br />
speelt zij speciaal voor jou op haar viool.<br />
Zo heb je voor heel even een privé-concert<br />
met muziek uit Nederland, Ierland,<br />
Italië, Schotland, Engeland, Zweden of<br />
Frankrijk. Je kunt ook een licht klassiek<br />
deuntje trekken of een kerstliedje tijdens<br />
de Kerstdagen.<br />
Poppie can be found at fairs, parties and<br />
street festivals. When you meet her, she will<br />
invite you to pick out a tune from her costume.<br />
She will then play this tune especially<br />
for you on her fiddle. For a brief moment in<br />
time you will have your very own private<br />
concert. Poppie plays lively tunes that are<br />
easy to listen to originating from different<br />
countries such as Italy, Ireland, Scotland,<br />
England, Sweden, France and the Netherlands.<br />

Vuur maakt vrolijk en Pyromancer<br />
brengt dat gevoel over op zijn publiek.<br />
Zijn cirkelshow is een mix van spectaculaire<br />
vlammen en een clownesk karakter.<br />
Eerst danst hij met het vuur en verleidt<br />
hij het publiek tot meezingen. Zo bereidt<br />
hij zijn toeschouwers voor op een zinderende<br />
finale: hij spuwt een gigantische<br />
vuurbal en verplaatst een vlam vervolgens<br />
meters lang met zijn mond. Deze<br />
unieke, internationaal bekende vuurshow<br />
is geschikt voor jong en oud en kan<br />
ook overdag worden gespeeld.<br />
Fire makes happy and Pyromancer passes<br />
this energy on to his audience. His circle<br />
show is a mix of spectacular flames and a<br />
clownesque character. First, he dances with<br />
the flames and seduces his audience to sing<br />
along. It’s preparation for the big final: he<br />
spits out a gigantic fireball and makes the<br />
fire travel through the air several meters on<br />
his mouth. This unique and internationally<br />
renowned fire show is suitable for both<br />
young and old and can be performed during<br />
daytime.<br />
