The Medal Parade<br />
The UNIFIL Medal was handed out to the Estonian and Norwegian peacekeepers on a parade at Falkehøyden<br />
the 25th of April 1997. The Force Commander and several distinguished guests witnessed Norbatt's<br />
rapid precision in doghandling and live fire from SISU and foot-patro!. The show emphasized the Battalion's<br />
special characteristical skilIs and proved that the medals were given "In recognition of having completely<br />
met the requirements of eligibility and having completed tl1e necessary period of qualifying service as a<br />
Military Member of the UNIFIL."<br />
