Tomaintaintheseparatorfunctionofelectrostaticfiltersandtheexhaustfunctionofmechanical<br />
filters,thefilterelementsneedtobecleanedregularly.<br />
IMPORTANT<br />
Changes or damage to the ionization wires, collector plates, and<br />
mechanical pre-and post-filters reduce the cleansing performance<br />
considerably.<br />
Itisgenerallyrecommendedtopurchaseacompletereplacementkit<br />
forthefilterinsertsinordertoensurenearlyuninterruptedfilteroperation.<br />
Norecommendationcanbegivenfortheintervals,becausethesoilingofthefiltersdepends<br />
onmanyfactors(machiningprocess,materials,coolinglubricant,crudegasexposure,andso<br />
forth).<br />
Neverthelessthefiltersoughttobecleanedevery4weeks.Theresultingexperiencescanthen<br />
leadtoempiricallyadaptingthecleaningintervalstep-by-stepdependingonthetypeofapplication.<br />
