Cleaningofthemechanicalpre-andpost-filtersaswellasthecollectorsandionizerscanbedonebyconventionalsteamjets,inultrasonic
baths,andbyindustrialwashingmachines.
Specialcareshouldbetakenwiththeelectrostaticfiltercelltoremove
allCLresiduesevenwithinthecollectorplates.Lookoutespeciallyfor
´GLUW\QRVHV´ ZKLFKFDQFDXVHVKRUWFLUFXLWV
Elementssuchashair,flakes,lint,etc.,havetoberemoved,because
otherwisesparksorshortcircuitsmayoccur.
Ifthesoilingisdifficultorheavy,itisgenerallyrecommendedtoletthe
filterinsertssoakinavataheadoftime.
In practical use industrial washing machines with integrated oil
skimmer for continuous bath preparation have proven their worth.
Neutral tensidecleaner with 3-4weight%is dosed into thecleaning
water,whichisheatedtoabout60°C.
The cleaning process is done with cleanser fed in at about 3-5 bar
pressureandaflowrateof 250l/min.Therequiredcleaningtimeper
washcycleisabout5-10minutesandcanbeindividuallyadapted.The
usefullifeofthecleanser(140l)withbathpreparationforlight-density
materialseparationisabout40washcycles.
Whenusingaconventionalsteamjetkeepsufficientdistanceandobservethecleaningparametersjustaswiththeindustrialwashingmachines.
8. Drycollectors,ionizers,andmechanical
filtersorblowthemoutwithair.
IMPORTANT
Beforeinserting thecorrect filter inserts makesurethatthereis no
water,cleanserorthelikebetweenthecollectorandpastedplates.
When inserting the collector make sure that the contact springs fit
exactlytothehigh-voltageleadthroughs.
