Oktober 2004 3:56 15Operation<strong>CK</strong>-<strong>40</strong>, <strong>CK</strong>B-<strong>40</strong>6.2 Using the coolbox➤ Place the coolbox on a firm base.➤ Connect the coolbox to a 220-2<strong>40</strong> V AC socket using the connectioncable.➤ Open the lid of the control panel (fig. 2.1, page 3) by pressing down on it.Press down on the lid again to close it.➤ Turn the temperature regulator (fig. 2.2, page 3) clockwise to the desiredposition.The further you turn the regulator towards “MAX”, the lower therefrigerating temperature.✓ The coolbox starts cooling the interior.Ensure that the objects placed in the coolbox are suitable for coolingto the selected temperature.Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not excessivelyrefrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze and can thusdestroy the glass containers.Switching off the coolbox➤ When you stop using the coolbox, turn the temperature regulator (fig. 2.2,page 3) anticlockwise to “0” and pull the connection cable from the socket.You can wind the cable around the two holders on the back of thedevice for storage.16
