em grande parte pela floresta Laurissilva. O grande atractivo deste concelho

Esta levada, traçada à altitude de 580 metros, nasce no leito da Ribeira
do Inferno, que separa as terras do Seixal das de São Vicente, e serpen-

heritage and outdoor activities that the
region finds its greatest richness.
When we speak of São Vicente we speak of a perfect communion between
man and nature. The municipality is located between the sea and
the mountains and is covered mostly by the Laurissilva forest. The
great attraction of this council is its natural heritage. The countless
trails and "levadas" gathered in this municipality establish a door to the
natural and humanised world of unquestionable value.

This levada lies at an elevation of 580 metres and has its source in the
bed of the Ribeira do Inferno stream, which separates the lands of Seixal
