This article seeks to analyze and understand how the South Korean
cultural industry, especially pop music (K-pop), has gained an important
role in the international scene, building its Soft Power from the
dissemination of fan activism and the propagation of ideas and contents.
For this we use the method of bibliographic research to analyze
concepts and data about the issue. As a result, we conclude from the
research that South Korea has in fact taken steps to export its culture
to build its soft power and achieve economic power; furthermore, we
agree that the aforementioned topic is indeed interesting as an object
of research in today's globalized world, with a strong connection
between the consumers of the various forms of culture, but there is
not a range of analyzes that discuss on the subject, In this sense, we
observed that research in this field would lack theoretical segment.
