thoughtmighthavebeenaoneshowdealisnow<br />

enteringitsseventhyear.Yourcheers,boos,laughs,and<br />

singingarewhywearehere.Thecastandcreware<br />

readytodeliveranotherfairytalewithatwist.<br />

ThisalstartedsevenyearsagoaspartofaTrilium grant<br />

withthemandatetoprovidefamilyentertainment.Our<br />

firstPantomime,“Cinderela”,suprisedus.Wewerein<br />

aweoftheturnout.Eachyearinthelobbythecastmeets<br />

youandthefeedbackhasbeenwonderful.Families<br />

comingeveryyear,childrendressingupastheirfavourite<br />

characters,andthesmilesonfaces.Thisiswhyweare<br />

here.<br />

Somuchhappensbehindthescenestomakethisshowpossible.Wearevery<br />

thankfulforthepartnershipsandthevolunteers.OurrelationshipwiththeOakvile<br />

Centre’sstafisabigpartofthesuccessofthisshow.Thelighting,thesound,the<br />

facility,thehardworkingteam intheboxoficeandthelobby.Wethankthem so<br />

muchforaltheydo.Takealookatthecrewpageinthisprogram.Somanyhours<br />

oftimeandhardwork.Whentheshowopenstheyarenotseenonstageinthe<br />

oneofmybestfriendsandwecouldprobablystil<br />

sayeverywordalongwiththemovie.Iwasalitle<br />

nervousturningthisclassicintoapanto,butaswe<br />

doveinIrealizedthatevenwithtwistsontheplot,<br />

silysongs,andoverthetopcharacters,themagic<br />

ofitstilshonethrough.Nomaterwhatyoudoto<br />

severaltheatreproductionsbothintheU.K.andsincemovingtoCanadain2010.<br />

Theseinclude:“ASliceofSaturdayNight”;“Singin’intheRain”;“Witchesof<br />

Eastwick”;“Sylvia”;“Cinderela”;“BabesintheWood”;“SnowWhite”,“BloodBrothers”;<br />

“CalendarGirls”and“SHREK!”.Whensheisn’tperformingintheatre,Kateislead<br />

vocalistinlocalrockband“DarkScarlet”andatnesenthusiast.However,she<br />

enjoysnothingbeterthanspendingqualitytimewithherfamilyanddogs.<br />

JoeyisveryexcitedtogoofaroundonstageinanotherBOTGproduction.Thisis<br />

“TheDrowsyChaperone”inSeptember.Joeywouldliketothankhisfamilyfortheir<br />

ThisisParker'srstshowwithBOTGandsheishappytobejoiningthefamily.By<br />

addingBOTGproductionstoherhistoryofacting,dancing,andsingingclases,<br />

Parkerisaimingtobecomeatruetheatricaltriplethreat.

Whathasnowbecomeherholidaytradition,Amandaisexcitedtobebackonstage<br />

withherPantofamily.Whensheisn'twearinggliter,playingwithmake-upand<br />

takingseles(asamermaidofcourse),Amandamoldstheyoungmindsofteenagerstoday-afeatgreaterthandancingonstagewithoutlegs,sheasuresyou.<br />

Amandaiseversothankfulforthesupportivefriendsshehasinherlife,bothonthe<br />

stagewithherandtheonescheeringheronintheaudience.Andofcourse,she<br />

needstoacknowledgehermother-furgrandma-to-be-forenjoyingthesepantos<br />

morethananyoneelseinthetheater.<br />

WhileatendingAldershotPerformingArts,itwasimmediatelyclearthatGracehad<br />

apasionfortheatre.Whennotsingingandacting,Gracecanbefoundpracticing<br />

gymnastics.SheiscurentlyanAdvancedCircusGymnast,atendingtheNational<br />

CircusSchoollastsummer.GraceisveryexcitedtobereturningwithBOTGandto<br />

beapartofthisamazingcast.MostrecentlysheenjoyedplayingCindyLouWhoin<br />

“Aladdin-AHolidayPantomime”.Shewouldliketothankeverybodywhohas<br />

helpedherdevelopheractingskilsovertheyears.<br />

Rebeccaisdelightedtobebackforher10thperformancewithBurlOakTheatre<br />

Group!Sheisevenmoreexcitedtobesharingthestagewithheryoungercousin,<br />

KeiraWing,andcouldn'tbeprouderofher.From ayoungage,Rebeccaalwayshad<br />
