NIGHTMARE JOURNEY
It was four years ago when my family and I were going home from
the seaside. We were at an island in Croatia called Vir. The
weather was really bad. It was raining all the time so we decided to
go back home. We left Vir at 4 o'clock in the evening. We were
driving normally for about two hours on the motorway but when
we arrived in front of the tunnel Mala Kapela, there was a huge
traffic jam. The queue was 20 kilometers long. We were waiting
there for about 3 hours. When we finally got through the tunnel,
we saw the traffic jam behind us when we looked down the hill. It
was huge. We got home at 11 o'clock at night. It was the longest
journey that I have ever had.
