Fisher Fieldvue DVC6200<br />

series digital valve controllers are<br />

now available for use by process<br />

industries with PLCs and Profibus<br />

communications as the dominant<br />

protocol.<br />

The Fieldvue DVC6200p<br />

digital valve controller with Device<br />

Type Manager (DTM) software<br />

supports control valve startup,<br />

commissioning, and diagnostic<br />

activities. It has also been tested<br />

and integrated for use with<br />

multiple Field Device Tool (FDT)<br />

host systems.<br />

Industries including food and<br />

beverage, water and wastewater,<br />

pharmaceutical, pulp and paper,<br />

and metals and mining will find<br />

value in the Fieldvue DVC6200p<br />

DTM instrument’s intuitive<br />

interface.<br />

Available in a variety of<br />

materials including stainless steel,<br />

the device comes with mounting<br />

kits to accommodate different<br />

Utilizing Human-Centered<br />

DVC6200p DTM has several<br />

features that simplify control valve<br />

set-up and monitoring. Its intuitive<br />

setup, auto-calibration, and<br />

simple tuning features save time<br />

during commissioning.<br />

With the failsafe option, users<br />

can set the instrument to hold its<br />

last value or position to actuator<br />

fail, based on control valve process<br />

The functional principle<br />

of DeltaPac utilizes the edge<br />

direction of reflectance is used for<br />

outputting switching signals.<br />

Object contours with radii of<br />

up to 20mm are thus detected<br />

reliably. The high-precision<br />

evaluation characteristic of<br />

DeltaPac ensures detection of<br />

even the smallest changes in<br />
