How to be “one of us”
R1A in action
STEP 1
It was the 5th April 2016 when we were invited to a multimedia group where we met the brain
behind it all, our mentor Dejan Čurk. He is one of the best teachers in our school. He divided us
into groups according to our expertise and previous knowledge.
STEP 2
We started preparing for the live streaming of the annual Novo mesto marathon.
Our mentor suggested us, newcomers, to stick to the video cameras so we can acquire skills necessary
for the production in the future. Of course we agreed since we were without a doubt prepared
to gain new experiences. Just a few days later, we got an e-mail to come to DE3 classroom
in our school, so that we got to know the equipment we were going to use and found out some
other information, such as camera positions, the schedule of the event, how the actual streaming
hardware looks like, etc.
