<strong>Research</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Social</strong> <strong>Sciences</strong>. F<strong>in</strong>d <strong>the</strong> most <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g, bizarre, or blatant example of a violation of good ethical<br />

conduct <strong>in</strong> research <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> social sciences. Expla<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> experiment. What <strong>the</strong>ories, ideas, behaviors, or phenomena were<br />

be<strong>in</strong>g analyzed? What were <strong>the</strong> attributes of <strong>the</strong> population that <strong>the</strong> researchers chose to use for <strong>the</strong>ir experiments?<br />

What did <strong>the</strong>y do to <strong>the</strong> population over <strong>the</strong> course of <strong>the</strong> experiments? After you have expla<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>the</strong> experiment and its<br />

procedure, <strong>the</strong>n provide an argument that displays why this research methodology was unethical. Remember to support<br />

your arguments with factual evidence and logical reason<strong>in</strong>g. Note: Do not overlap cases with o<strong>the</strong>r students. Each case<br />

presented should be unique. You cannot receive full credit for a post that overlaps with ano<strong>the</strong>r student if that student<br />

posted before you. If someone posts your desired example before you do, please f<strong>in</strong>d ano<strong>the</strong>r case. Your <strong>in</strong>itial post<br />

should be at least 250 words <strong>in</strong> length. Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

scholarly resources, and properly cite any references. Respond to at least two of your classmates? posts by Day 7.<br />
