About our classes<br />
As Stirling’s largest gym, health and <strong>fitness</strong> provider<br />
we’ve got over 200 classes to choose from each week<br />
at 6 main venues including The PEAK, Forthbank, Raploch<br />
Community Campus, Stirling, Wallace and Bannockburn<br />
High Schools and over 20 community venues across<br />
Stirling. With classes for all levels including the world<br />
class LES MILLS programmes, Yoga, Aqua and Velocity,<br />
there’s plenty for everyone to do!<br />

NEW climbing wall,<br />
marathon training and<br />
swimming <strong>fitness</strong> classes<br />
We have added some new style <strong>fitness</strong> classes to our<br />
New Year programme. These classes are unique to the<br />
Stirling area and will let you experience new exercises<br />
to improve your <strong>fitness</strong>.<br />
CLIMB UP<br />
This class will challenge your <strong>fitness</strong>, agility,<br />
stamina and mental toughness! Climb Up is<br />
a circuits based class using our climbing wall.<br />
Climbing uses muscle groups that you may<br />
not use in a standard <strong>fitness</strong> class. You do not<br />
have to be a competent climber to attend this<br />
class as it will be run by our qualified climbing<br />
wall instructors and any equipment will be<br />
given at the class. You will burn calories and<br />
fat, build muscle and have fun.<br />
MARATHON TRAINING<br />
Jog Scotland Marathon class is a group<br />
running class designed to get you in shape<br />
to run a marathon – ideal with the first ever<br />
Stirling marathon coming in May! There<br />
are two sessions 7.00pm – 8.00pm and<br />
8.00pm – 9.00pm. You can do one or two<br />
sessions. These will act as one of your training<br />
sessions as you build up to do the Stirling<br />
Marathon. Minimum requirement for the<br />
class will be to run a 10K. Distance covered<br />
between 5 – 7 miles per session so<br />
if you do both sessions you will<br />
cover 10 – 14 miles.<br />
SWIM SKILLS AND DRILLS<br />
This class combines swimming with muscular<br />
endurance to develop strength through a<br />
range of body weight exercises including<br />
squats, lunges and press ups as well as<br />
core stability. Benefits of this class include<br />
developing swimming strokes as well as<br />
burning fat and toning up. During swimming<br />
sets participants must be able to swim a<br />
minimum of two lengths. Lanes will be<br />
sectioned so the class is beginner friendly and<br />
will also challenge advanced swimmers.<br />
