ART’<strong>COP22</strong>: International Exhibition of Contemporary Art<br />
The Arkane Maroc Association will also organize an artistic event in the Green Zone: ART’<strong>COP22</strong>.<br />
Over 500 m2, within the Civil Society zone, the association will present an international exhibition<br />
with the theme "World Art Coop Expressions", as well as the second edition of Arkane - Afrika, an<br />
exhibition dedicated to promoting African contemporary art. This <strong>COP22</strong>-labeled event will allow<br />
participants to discover numerous paintings, photographic works, engravings and sculptures.<br />
The Mediterranean Consortium for Nature &<br />
Culture, WWF and DiversEarth collaborate to<br />
produce "On the Move", an exhibition presenting<br />
in the Green Zone the works of photographers<br />
from six countries about ecological lives,<br />
challenges and expertise of mobile pastoralists<br />
in the Mediterranean Basin.<br />
Lahcen Iwi will display in the Blue Zone his<br />
creation made of recycled tires. With the<br />
elasticity of the rubber, he creates vivid and<br />
ultra-realistic animals, objects and characters.<br />
The Danish artist Kasper Brejnholt Bak will<br />
exhibit “Mind the Earth” in the Green Zone: a<br />
work on selected images from Google Earth<br />
accompanied by texts illustrating climate<br />
change.<br />
Echoing <strong>COP22</strong> and its own engagement in<br />
favour of a Moroccan sustainable craft<br />
industry, Holmarcom Group will exhibit in<br />
the Green Zone the work of seventeen<br />
designers, all sharing a green creative<br />
excitement, in a stand conceived by<br />
designer Younes Duret.<br />

In a space of more than 100-square metre<br />
in the Green Zone, “Climate Change in<br />
Lapland's Nature“ will present to <strong>COP22</strong><br />
participants an exhibition of 19 panels<br />
about Lapland's hills, wetlands and forests,<br />
and the effects of climate change.<br />
The Blue Zone will also exhibit artists’ art<br />
works and hold cultural events. Younes<br />
Bakkali will show a painting on recycled<br />
paper. In addition, the artist Fikri will<br />
convert, in situ, the <strong>COP22</strong> poster into an art<br />
work through a recycled and printing ink<br />
dilution process in the Green Zone.<br />
In a 340-square meter area in the Green Zone,<br />
20 prefectures and provinces will present the<br />
National Human Development Initiative and<br />
Sustainable Development Exhibition.<br />
With support from the National Human Rights<br />
Council, the CDG Foundation and the Ministry<br />
of Culture, “Photo for My Planet“ is an<br />
exhibition of pictures shot by professionals and<br />
amateurs highlighting efforts and alternatives<br />
against climate change, in the Green Zone.<br />
Nordin Znati will present in the Blue Zone his<br />
work made from used exhaust pipes turned<br />
into phantasmagorical metallic animals.<br />
The Universal Love Association, already<br />
present at COP21, comes back to <strong>COP22</strong> in<br />
the Green Zone. Its message will heighten<br />
awareness on “changing the lifestyle for the<br />
climate” around a debate programme with<br />
professionals and through exhibitions,<br />
shows and workshops on local know-how.
