Marrakech Climate Show<br />
During <strong>COP22</strong>, one of the most emblematic places in the city will be hosting a<br />
free special event: the Marrakech Climate Show.<br />
The El-Harti stadium will be hosting an exceptional show bringing together<br />
international headliners and Moroccan artists to celebrate climate action while<br />
aiming to convey a universal message to the audience.<br />
In order to highlight solidarity, the performances will represent an eclectic mix of<br />
cultures from around the world, with Moroccan and international artists<br />
performing together to spread the message for climate action.<br />
Initiated by the <strong>COP22</strong> Steering Committee, this show is a co-production<br />
between 2M TV and “Electrons Libres” of the Lagardère Group.<br />

Akon Concert<br />
To celebrate the COP in Africa, the Senegalese-American singer Akon will offer a<br />
performance at the El Badi Palace, together with a line-up of African artists.<br />
With his mother as a dancer and father as a percussionist, Akon spent much of<br />
his childhood in Senegal. Not only recognized as a singer, songwriter,<br />
businessman, record producer and actor, Akon is also known for his project<br />
“Akon Lighting Africa” that seeks to bring electricity to millions of households in<br />
Africa with solar energy.<br />
