Pujo Patrika - Aikatan

নমার / Bonjour/ Hello …
That this magazine is now in your hand, is all because of the
generosity of the multiple people behind it. From the articles, to
the photos and the paintings, it is the effort of a bunch of people
who have trusted the editors’ instincts and demands, unfailingly.
It was on one of these barbecue day outs from “Aikatan”, that we
sat together to plan for the upcoming Pujo and suddenly the beans
for magazine were spilt. To our surprise, almost instantly there was
an enormous mental support to go forward with the idea. The
mental support took some time to be lent on papers for the
submissions though!! But, as it is said — “Better late than Never”.
So, here we are, with the maiden “Pujo Patrika” from Aikatan,
Lausanne for the year 2019.
We have introduced the magazine or “Pujo Patrika” with the hope
of infusing a feeling of closeness to the celebration. In due course,
we found that there are people amongst us, with talents that has
been shunned away for a while. We hope this magazine has given
them some scope to come forward and nourish their aptitudes.
In the coming years, we will be looking forward to witness the
“Pujo” and our “Patrika” grow - in grandeur and in participants.
We cannot leave without expressing thanks that are due to the
contributors — the most, to our junior brigade— from the age of 4
to 15. Our grand salute to their Mothers- who have relentlessly
supported us in our ventures. We sincerely appreciate the time of
each of our contributors, devoted towards their entries in the
magazine.
Lastly, since this is our first effort for “Pujo Patrika”
from Aikatan, it might be (or is already with) many flaws.
We hope we can improve in the coming years with your
support and care.
